The Equalizer
It's a tactic that goes back to the earliest accounts of WWII in the Pacific where US soldiers would booby trap the bodies of dead Japanese and leave them lie..

I never knew this. Very interesting.
Much like a tactic we snipers were taught... Unless the mission calls specifically for a kill, it's always best to wound enemy soldiers.. A gut shot or a upper torso shot.. That way, you not only eliminate a combatant, you tie up at least 2-4 other enemy combatants getting their wounded comrade to safety...
Of course, that doesn't apply to MW MultiPlayer.. In MP, we be like, Frak it! Yer on yer own!!
Or in the age old wisdom of SSgt Wally Baugh, 18th SPS, Kadena AB, Okinawa Japan....

"Frak you!! I'm covered!!"
