It’s not good

So been playing BO6 and now Warzone since day 1 and these are my views as I see it, if you see it differently fabulous but this is what I see playing the game.

Absolute honesty - I think this takes the title of worst call of duty ever by a million miles and then some, they have improved nothing, graphics are rubbish, gameplay changes are rubbish, new games modes and I say that with tongue in my cheek add nothing, the story mode is the best part but the quality of the cinematic in the game are a step backwards, in Warzone Plunder is my thing, I was hoping for a new map but no just the same old one but lower quality graphics, new gameplay mechanics that no one ever asked for, Treyarch are the worst in my eyes of the call of duty developers and this game feels a tired effort from a team who have lost their enthusiasm for gaming and just make product. Cheating - it’s as bad as it’s always been. As a publisher Activision don’t do anything I feel to combat cheating - in my eyes again - feel free to disagree - we are the idiots who bought the game so why would they change.

One last thing to all you PS players - you might have paid £100 for your copy of the game like I did - on Xbox Gamepass it was a day one release.

I can understand your frustrations with Blops6, although I have to respectfully disagree. I think MWII by IW is by far the worst COD title in recent years.

Coming off such a great title in what was MW2019, MWII had high expectations and what we got was absolutely disgusting. A lot of people love to hate on MW2019 for literally adding "doors" to the game, but the game had great gunplay, attachment/gunsmith unlocks, and maps. And this carried MW2019. MWII on the other hand, reverted literally everything, minus the maps. MWII nerfed movement into the ground, torched the gunsmith, attachments, attachment unlocks (remember gun tuning?), and ridiculous attachment negatives. The title was a joke and a spat in the face on everything that made MW2019 great. IW could not have had a further fall from grace, imo.

In by saying that, I hope they've learned their lesson and whatever game they're cooking up next returns them to their former glory. Hopefully they can make a "FUN" Call of Duty title. I find Blops6's biggest weakness is the maps and the terrible amount of bugs. I think a lot of the bugs comes from Activision's greediness of the COD HQ.

That said, Treyarch does seem to care, much like Sludgehammer with MWIII. They are passionate about making a good/fun title, and their communication to the community somewhat proves that. Raven has even been doing great work in recent years in attempting to keep WZ stable. One thing I will say though, for how much money they are racking in, and all the dedicated dev support they have, it blows my mind that it took them to Blops6 to finally rework and retune all the MWII/III weapons and attachments. I think, although, WZ and whatever current COD title are two separate games, Activison's continual greediness will always cause issues between the two gamemodes. I understand that WZ is essentially free marketing for the current year's COD title, but sticking the two together instead of breaking them out into their own games will always bring bugs and an experience that comes at the detriment of it's players. And the fact that the COD fanbase does not hold Activision accountable will forever be COD's downfall. #rant.

Anyway, apologies for the 500 word essay. I'm sorry you're not finding as much enjoyment out of Blops6 then a lot of people. However, I hope the both Blops6 and WZ get to a place that satisfies your tastes and becomes enjoyable for you!

It's a garbage game. They went cheap. Real cheap. Hell you want to see the state of the game just look at the H.E. 1 launcher. Nuff said. Then there is the horrible audio. You either don't hear footsteps or you are flooded with footsteps in all directions. And they want you to pay more to fix their broken audio. Then there is cheating. Well the perceived cheating. I was wrong. I thought I was facing cheaters in every game, but I was wrong it's because they were so cheap on their servers and the tick rate is half of their competitors and one fifth the tick rate in warzone. The server Desync is so bad that it seems most people are cheating. It's so bad that certin loadouts get super-bullets. Yes its a thing. You will experience it when you think you are getting 1 shot by someone with an LMG or submachine gun. The major issue in the game is they took the Cheap way out. Look at the Audio. why is it they will fix the audio 3-4 months after game launch. After Closed Beta, Open beta, and Alpha testing? They did bring out Stakeout, a game mode that seems popular with a lot of fans but they took it off.......

I have to say that I both agree and disagree with the topic at hand. Yes, there are some issues. You cannot build a game for the masses without some conflict and given the complexity of the game there are going to be glitches. Not going to talk about cheaters because that is something other than the topic here. As for Treyarch, I happen to know a number of the senior Devs there and have worked with some of them dating back to WaW. They have always brought their A game and professionalism to their craft. I am enjoying this game even with some of the bullshit in the game such as the small maps, technical glitches (they are working on them), the crossplay advantages and disadvantages. I play not for fame and glory but simply to enjoy myself without having to get caught up in the leader boards, winners circle and so on.

I hear you and I’d be happy to have some online games with those guys at Treyarch as I would love to know if the game has been in development for 2 years how we ended up here, 8 of my regiment have deleted the game, 4 have been cheeked and asked Sony for a refund and you know what - I think they will get it, the game is not good, the faults in the last Treyarch Warzone have been carried over to the new one - I don’t think anyone would believe the game engine is all new just a refreshed version of their old one but it hasn’t stood the test time - everything about the game is a step down in my eyes and even the hardcore streamers I know who live off COD agree this is a very poor example. All I know is I paid £100 and the game I received is rubbish - I played 3 games of Plunder earlier, it was absolute garbage no fun or pleasure at all - last Warzone I won over 1000 games, one before that over 4,000 games - in this just 3 so far and every game has been more pain than pleasure. I could forgive a lot if there was an anti cheat function of note in the game but I can’t be sure there is anything at all - this has been a long issue and still developers cannot find solutions to make a fair playing field.

I am old enough to remember PlayStation when it was new - none of the last 3 or 4 COD games would have been passed for release on PlayStation as wouldn’t have met the quality standards, now both Activision and PlayStation are all about making a quick buck and quality is optional - it’s a shame because I love the franchise, been with it since day one when it defined the genre but it’s a bit of a con now.
