I have Cold War for PS5. After installing it, I was unable to play Warzone. I went to the Store, and the only way to install Warzone was to install Modern Warfare. Is this correct? How do I make sure I'm downloading Modern Warfare/Warzone for ps5 and not the Ps4 version? No idea how this can be so complicated. Appreciate any help

Warzone Confused with Warzone on PS5

There should be a "Warzone" listing on the PSN store for PS5. Even then, it should've taken you to the PS Store listing or download button.
Type in "Call of Duty Warzone" on PS5. Sigh...
After install Cold War via the disc, if I click on "Warzone" it just says "this app is not installed or cannot be found". It doesn't take me to the store.
When I got the store, the only thing called "Warzone" takes me to downloading Modern Warfare when I click on it.
I installed Modern Warfare, and now when I click on it, it says nothing is installed.
This is so frustrating.
Should I delete and reinstall Cold War?
What...? Wow. Here's the thing: Modern Warfare is backwards compatible on PS5. Warzone should be inside the update when you installed MW. So, update Modern Warfare. That's practically where Warzone started.
As for Cold War, please tell me you got the PS5 version...
I have to install all of Modern Warfare to play Warzone, even on PS5? That seems ridiculous..

Well, on PS4, Warzone has its own install. (Which is why I told you to search "Call of Duty Warzone.") I think someone had an oversight on how to move Warzone over to PS5. So, my guess is they just go... "fuck it, just list the Modern Warfare game." Sigh. This is going to be a pain once I buy PS5.
