Some of us only have limited time to play, getting rid of that extra couple of minutes at the end of each round might make the difference between playing 6 rounds instead of 5 with an extra 10 minutes spent watching end of round animations. We are gamers, we want to play games, if we wanted to watch videos we would be on YouTube or Netflix.

I am always telling my wife, "Just 5 more mins, honey!!" and then I have to wait 2 mins while my score is tabulated... It was excruciating..

OMG. It feels like you've been spying on me! But yes, that's exactly where I am coming from, I've completed the match, but I am still waiting for the accolades, fanfares and kill cam clips...

Well, yes it is for some players.

Also, it seems quite harsh that you would dismiss this issue because it doesn't bother you when clearly it does bother @Yankee_LT who made the original post.

Exactly! As soon as the fight finishes I immediately switch to some other window I have running - my Outlook, a media player, a book.

It actually takes noticeable time between the moment one game finishes and another begins. So I am doing something in between.
