Warzone Experiment ?? - Cross-play turn off Date

Hi Guys
I am an older Xbox gamer (58), have a large group of mates of similar ages (and young-uns)and have won over 60+ games. Having said that i am at best an average player but an excellent team player.

Myself and my mates however are sick and tired of cheats and hackers and always report where and when possible and have video evidence on my social to prove these scum exist.

To this end, how about setting a date say 1st Sept 2020 to turn off cross-play on our consoles for any and all who wish to do so and hopefully start a sizeable pool to get a game hopofully !. It would appear Activision and associates have no intention of doing this, so let me know your thoughts and see where what happens. Cheers guys happy gaming

I play on Pc, Yeah hackers ruin every game, But there are ALSO console hackers. No not near as many, But they are out there with controller no recoil hacks etc. I assure you Not all consolers are LEGIT.

Given my age and Experience, you are rather stating the obvious. I am fully aware of cheats on Xbox, but even being legit the standard hardware gives them an advantage immediately.

The point is myself and all the people I have played with ALL without exception want it to be our own choice, not forced to have to have cross play on.

Ah yes, this tired argument again. First off a lot of PC players have rigs that barely run the game at 40fps on the lowest settings anyway, so their game looks worse than yours does. Then you have guys that keep settings on low because they want to hit higher frames. Then you have the guys that still run the game on lowest settings because "having better graphics" makes it harder to see enemies. A very very small portion of the gaming community is able to run the game at max settings and still have >100 frames.

And btw, yes, having a 144 or higher fram rate is an advantage but only in name. We're talking literal ms of time. If you die to a PC player, it's not because he was getting 170fps and saw you first, it's because his gun skill or positioning was better.

And no, Hunt wasn't stating the obvious like you claim. You said you and your mates play on XBox but complained about hacking, so your solution was to remove crossplay. As if that would fix the problem for you. Spoiler alert, it won't, as Hunt pointed out. Also spoiler alert, a lot of the guys you think are hacking actually aren't. This is the "you are the hero of the story, only you are allowed to make great plays every couple games, if anyone else makes a great play they must be cheating".

It should certainly be an option if companies insist on making crossplay a thing, but honestly I'd rather they didn't even bother. Gaming was better before console-pc crossplay era.
It's one of the reasons I'm playing a lot more Apex Legends right now. It's noticable right away when you're up against players without a hardware advantage.
