This is how I solved it:
Be warned, this is quite a lengthy process but,
it did work for me
Disclaimer!
Follow these steps carefully!
I do not take any responsibility for your actions!
Follow these instructions at your own risk!
[Important!! If at any point, you get a black screen/no display
during this process, you will have to clear the BIOS.
There is a button to do this on my motherboard somewhere above all
the USB ports and stuff on the back of my PC. You may not have
such a button and will have to look up how to do it
on your particular motherboard.]
My Motherboard & CPU:
B550m Steel Legend Motherboard &
AMD Ryzen 5800x3d CPU
(For Windows 11 skip to step 6)
I happened to be running Windows 10 in legacy mode or something.
That is why I was getting the TPM 2.0 message in Call of Duty.
Here are the steps I had to take to fix it:
1. Press Windows key + X and select Disk Management from the menu
2. In the Disk Management window, find the desired disk in the bottom pane (e.g., Disk 0, Disk 1).
Right-click on the disk (where it says "Disk 0", "Disk 1", etc.).
Select Properties from the context menu.
3. Check the Volumes Tab:
In the Properties dialog box that appears, click on the Volumes tab.
Look for the line labelled "Partition style".
4. Identify the Partition Style:
The entry next to "Partition style" will show whether the disk uses MBR (Master Boot Record) or GPT (GUID Partition Table)
If any of the disks are using the MBR partition Style they need to be changed, here is a Youtube video
I followed in order to do this, don't worry, you won't lose any data or anything:
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiPi4kYpUF8
5. Update to Windows 11
Download & run the Windows 11 Installation Assistant
(Once again, don't panic, you will retain all your programs & files)
6. Flashing your Bios
My Motherboard is a B550m Steel Legend, if you have a different motherboard
I suggest downloading the latest BIOS from the manufacturers website or
contacting their customer support. It is important to get the specific version for
your particular motherboard or it will NOT work.
To find out which motherboard you have, type in the windows search bar "info"
& press enter. In the System Information Panel check next to where it says
Baseboard Model
I flashed my BIOS to the latest version from the ASRock website (3.61 beta)
and it didn't help, so I emailed customer support and after a couple of days
they responded & sent me a link to a beta version (3.62 beta) which worked.
Customer support form I used:
tw.asrock.com
Here is a link to download the 3.62 BIOS they sent me (ASRock B550m Steel Legend):
IF YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT MOTHERBOARD, DO NOT USE THIS!! CONTACT CUSTOMER SUPPORT &

For this next step, you will need a USB thumb drive formatted to FAT32,
here is a YouTube video showing you how to do that:
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bO6kdFD3Ja0
Copy the BIOS to the USB thumb drive and plug it into the back of your PC.
Restart your PC and as it powers up keep pressing 'del' or 'F2' key
to bring up your BIOS menu.
(AMD Ryzen CPU ONLY!!
In the ADVANCED tab go to CPU Configuration,
go to AMD fTPM switch, select AMD CPU fTPM)
In the 'TOOLS' tab, go to Instant Flash, click 'Yes' then click 'Update'
Let it run and when it reboots your PC, again, keep pressing 'del' or 'F2' key
to bring up your BIOS menu.
Go to the BOOT tab, find the CSM setting and disable it.
Go to the SECURITY tab, select 'Secure Boot' and set the Secure Boot Mode to 'Standard'.
Click on Install default Secure Boot keys and confirm by selecting Yes when prompted.
Now, you should be able to set the Secure Boot option to 'Enabled'
Go to EXIT tab, 'save changes & exit'
Type "info" into the windows search bar,
In the System Information panel, look for:
BIOS mode should be 'UEFI'
Secure Boot State should be 'ON'
Load up Call of Duty and hopefully the message will be gone.
This was a major headache and took a lot of repeated tries & troubleshooting
so I hope this guide is of some help. Good luck & have a nice day.
