Like To See A Map Filter

I would also like to see a Map Filter Also! Not everybody is going to like every map it ain't gonna happen. So how about a map filter so we can select what maps a person wants to play. Since we don't have the luxury of selecting servers like most games I have made a Map Filter Pic for Capture The Flag as a suggestion.

A voting option would be more practical. If everyone was able to filter the map they would like to play, most people would flock to Shipment and Shoothouse. With voting, maps are still random and rotated providing variety and spreading out the population online. Otherwise, most other maps would be abandoned.

Voting is another good option. Now in Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 and options on what type of maps you want to play. Works Great IMHO.

And in BF there were only two maps that were heavily populated. The rest were ghost towns unless the server played them at random.

It certainly does, but then there's no variety. You have to hate other maps enough to make the ones you like enjoyable when they become available, otherwise it just becomes monotonous.

The following Capture Maps Are just SLAYER MAPS WITH FLAGS
Rust, Vacant, Atlas Superstore, Shoot House. In my honest opinion.

Every time those maps come up I hit the ESC key to get out of that map. Having a Map Filter will just look for the maps that you wish to play and by passing the maps you don't like. it Saves Time Big time. It's just a suggestion.

But what if someone else likes a map that you don't? How is that fair to them to allow them to play an unpopular map with no one there to populate it. I certainly don't like maps like Piccadilly. But I feel it's a necessity to have something different without the game burning out too early in it's life either.

Why would you limit yourself to monotony? You will eventually burn out playing the same things over and over again. By then, the game itself will become perpetual and die out. You're probably too young to understand that.

Not really I would not get all that burned out. I ran a BF3 Server for 3 years and had 3 maps in my map list. I also had a Halo Combat Evolved server for 7 years and had only 4 maps only in my map list. Worked great!

Worked great in what aspect? That it was populated? If I ran shipment 24/7 I would sellout all day long. But that's literally what I'm trying to explain. People share similar favorites, but that's why BF3 and 4 died out. They only run 2 maps all day long. I barely see more than 100 people even playing anymore because there's no variety.

I still play BF4 IE: Metro and Golmud Railway Only. On my Halo Server I acculaly ran one map only "BloodGuch" Only. Ran it for 24/7 for about a year. My server was always full.

What's the difference if I sit and back out of lobby's fornthe stupid maps I dont like or set a flag so I dont have to worry about it. Either way I'm still not playing those maps.
