Permanently unlock question

I have an unlock token to use but I accidentally unlocked an item with a normal token, now it won't let me unlock it permanently...

Is there any way to permanently unlock something after you "unlock and equip" it?

I really don't feel like going through another prestige without the M8A7 lol

If you've already reached Prestiged One, you'll have a 'Permanent Token.' From what I understand, you can use your token on something that you may already have unlocked by a regular token.
In example, say you unlocked the Weevil with a regular token once you got to Prestige 1 Level 4; you'll still be able to unlock it permanently to have it stay through the next 9 prestiges.

If you've already used your Permanent Token, you'll have to wait until the next prestige.
Not much I can do otherwise, considering I'm unsure of your prestige, level. etc.

If that doesn't, message me. I'll try and figure out what's wrong.
