Please hear me out. On June 6th I received notification that a Twitter account with my Activision username was unlinked. Since I could still play Cold War and Warzone, I didn't really care. Then 2 days later I received an email saying that my Xbox account had been unlinked from Activision.
I booted up the Xbox and started to play Cold War. The very first thing it asked me to do was link an account. Like an idiot, I accidentally used the wrong email address. I used one that I had never before used for gaming.
It started me way back at level ZERO. All my stats, progression, and purchases gone Gone GONE!!!! And I can't even try to re-link the old account because it won't let me unlink this new account for 12 months.
TBH, I don't even know if my progression is still there for my last account or why it was unlinked to begin with.
I tried using the automated process for recovering an account. They want you to create a new account and then have a transfer done. But everytime I try it, it tells me that the previous account does not exist....even though I am able to log into Activision's website with it.
Also, they do not do online support anymore. You have to submit a ticket. I have submitted 6 tickets in the past 6 weeks and have heard nothing back from them.
Lastly, there has been no activity on Activision Support's Twitter or Facebook for months. Its like there is no one to talk to. No recourse. Activision has no interest in helping people.
Does anyone have any suggestions at all. At this point I probably will quit CoD. i can't just start over. That is unacceptable. Please help.
