Way back when, when I was a little munchkin, I read a novel...
The story was about a many name Joshua who appeared from The Temple Mount in Israel and was proposed to be the second coming of Christ. The novel was a contemporary military/political thriller that dealt with the (then) politico/military repercussions of such an event..
I think the name was REVELATION or something akin to that.. I can remember the cover which was a dark bluish/black cover that showed the Mount with a door open and light pouring thru the doorway....
I have googled things six ways from Sunday and can't seem to locate this novel.. Most search results give me the religious references of Joshua and Revelation, but there are no listings for a 70s-80s novel.. But I am sure I read it when I was a youngin'...
I would like to read it again, but I'll be damned if I can find it..
Any other old farts out there who can recall that novel??
