Red Tracer Pack

While I have been waiting for the Nitko Bundle (Blue Tracers) I did notice that a Red Tracer Pack became available.. So I snatched it up..

I was reading up on it and it said once you use the Cerise (the weapon with the red tracers) then ALL your weapons will have red tracers..

It doesn't seem to be working for me..

Am I reading it wrong???

It's similar to the blue gunshots. I'm guessing it's going to work similarly to that.
