Greetings, Devil Dog! Welcome to the Call of Duty Forums. It looks like you're looking forward to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, but haven't created an account yet. Why not take a minute to 
CODForums now has a feature in which you can show your current rank progress in Call of Duty games since Black Ops.
How to enable the feature, you ask? Click on "Preferences" you should see an overlay almost immediately. You'll see these:
Black Ops Prestige
Modern Warfare 3 Prestige
Black Ops 2 Prestige
They're dropdowns that allow you to choose from first Prestige, to 10th Prestige. I do realize that in Black Ops 2, there are 15 [to er, 20] prestiges in all, but this is the standard in BO2 that maybe not everyone is going to get that far.
These icons will show up in your:
Member Card (Click a User's Avatar/Username)
Profile Page
Visitor Panel (When you log in)
You can see an example on my postbit.
Around November 5th/15th, we'll have Call of Duty Ghosts Prestige levels available.
