I have to wonder..

When the Avengers used the Infinity Stones to bring back those lost to the 'blip'...

Did they bring back EVERYONE throughout the whole universe?? Or did they just bring back those who were lost on Earth???

If you had captions on to understand Thanos' motivation or motivations, you'd understand what Iron Man reversed. Tony killed only the mutants that fought in the Infinity War.

Avengers: Infinity War and End Game is basically one film. You can't watch End Game without watching Infinity War.

Thanos killed EVERY living mutant that fought in the Infinity War, Tony didn't reverse this. He only killed the enemies of that Infinity War. That's why the stones are dangerous.

The films that came out after End Game are "resets." Iron Man and Spiderman died for example. If you look at No Way Home... if you fuck with space and time, and you mess with the timeline, the events that follows will essentially "reset."

Spiderman at the end of End Game is NOT the same Spiderman that preceeded that storyline. You'll understand if you finish the other films in the MCU after End Game.

(Spiderman is still Holland, but I mean story wise. He lost his old suit, for example. The one Tony gave him.)

But I wasn't referring to to Tony's actions.. My bust for not being clearer..

I was referring to Hulk's actions on bringing back those lost in the blip..

Did Banner bring back ALL who Thanos killed?? Or JUST the people of Earth that Thanos killed.

On the one hand, we have Tony's fear that Banner's actions may alter his family.. So it would seem that Tony would insist on JUST bringing back humans on Earth.. Although making a direct connection between all the people restored all over the universe and Tony losing his daughter might be too much of a stretch..

On the other hand, it seems pretty selfish to me that the Avengers would ONLY be concerned about humans on Earth and the rest of the galaxy can go pound sand..

On the THIRD hand, there might be a civilization out there that WELCOMED Thanos' actions and would NOT want Thanos' actions reversed..

It's an interesting intellectual conundrum..

I forgot all about Hulk's time-bending scenes. I just didn't think he has anything to do with the erasure of anything. I think he manipulated time to reverse SOME timeline that INDIRECTLY changed the tides of the Infinity War. I'd have to rewatch to see what he reversed.

But Tony's motivation would have to be to reverse Thanos' killing of mutants like Spiderman, but he focused on eradicating Thanos' army.

If I recall correctly, Tony said, "Just bring back the people we lost. Nothing else" which says to me that the "we lost" indicates to being back just the humans of Earth...

But I might have to re-watch it as well...

Which is fine.. As far as I am concerned Infinity War/ENDGAME is when movies peaked..

Nothing has compared since then..
