Utopia Mission Glitch- Sewer Cover

Whats up. I'm running into a very frustrating issue/Glitch on this mission and don't know how to resolve it.

After you jump out of the window and fall into the water you swim through the sewer pipe and surface. After surfacing in the sewer there is a manhole cover/sewer cap sewer which you are supposed to open but there are button icons to press such as square or circle to do so. I am simply stuck here.

I have tried restarting the PS4 restarting the mission and nothing is working. I have done Internet searches and found that this is a problem among others as well.

Please help! This is so damn frustrating and I want to finish the campaign.

- Did you apply the new patch? (Since launch, there's been at least 3 patches.)
- Did you re-install the game itself? (The game installs as soon as you put in the disc.)

You can keep the save file, but I'm guessing there's a problem with the game itself.

I'm running this on PS4. I have updated the game. I have NOT tried to remove the CD and re-insert though. Will try that. Will revert back after trying.

Noononono. I meant deleting the installation file on PS4. I have the game for PS4, too.

In other words, refreshing the game itself.

You could try re-inserting, but that's not what I was trying to get at.

If you delete the installation file and try again with the save file, and it doesn't work - then you'll have to delete the save file, otherwise delete the installation file first. The source of the glitches are usually based around a game, not a save file.

Sometimes the save file has something to do with it, but not "most of the time."
