Warzone 2.0 Very weird lags with unknown cause

Hey guys,

First time posting here. Not sure if this is the correct place for this post but if not then please let me know so I can move it.

THE ISSUE:

After restarting my PC and starting a Warzone2 game. I get very bad lags which continue to reduce over the course of the game and the next games until they are barely noticeable.
If I stop playing for a few hours or restart my PC again, the lags return, and so on.

WHAT TYPE OF LAGS:

The lags are of freeze type where the game freezes for 0.5 to 1 second and then returns to normal.

MY PC SPECS

  • GPU: ASUS ROG-STRIX RTX 3080 10GB
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5800x3D
  • MB: Asus prime B-550 plus
  • RAM: 16x2 GB 3600
  • Monitor: AOC Ultra wide 32"
  • Storage: I use two types of storage one for the OS and one for my games
    • Samsung EVO 970 500 GB for my OS
    • 1TBx2 PNY SSD in parallel raid config (Where the game is saved)
  • PSU: XIGMATEK Minotaur 80 plus, 850w
  • AIO: Corsair H100 RGB

WHAT HAVE I TRIED

I tried to change the game settings so many times. I tried the lowest settings and tried the highest.
I used DLSS, AMD DLSS, and no DLSS.
MY GPU runs at 65c underload
My CPU used to run at 78c under load (with the issue present). Now my CPU runs at 90c underload (That's another issue that I am trying to solve)

PS. I do have videos showing the first and second games after restarting. Please let me know what way you recommend linking them.

Finally. If anyone knows any way to solve this issue. please let me know

not sure about game lag, im running the 5800x3d also and im using corsair 5000d airflow case and have 3 front intake 3 side intake 1 rear exhaust and a 360 push pull aio and under loads my cpu does not go over 55c. now it does runner maybe 60c if the house is warm inside. so how are you cooling the cpu.

My temp issues must be coming from my IO but not sure why. I have a medium size case with 3 front pull fans, 1 exhaust back fan, and H100 IO exhausting.

I would also be checking to see if something, anything, is running in the background. I dont see heat being an issue here that would be causing intermittent lag as you describe. Worth checking at the very least.

whats your temps gpu and cpu. when gaming i have case fans 100% and gpu has a fan curve run by msi afterburner. these post i think usually go in tech forum but you ok. and the temps will change with room temp. and when i reviewed the 5800x3d it said it could run hot. its 105 watt conpared to my 5600x at 95 watt but im not having any temp issues with it. as far as lag goes whats the ping or latency your getting. looks like you have pretty good rig so i would not think thats an issue.

not an issue

Just a little bit of Info.
I play many other games on 4k and highest quality and never really get this lag. Like assassins creed valhala, Apex legends, The Cycle frontier.

Its only warzone that has this for me. which is driving me insane

thats crazy. i never lag in any game except freeze up in mw2 15 times a week. sick of it. idk what is going on with your lag issue. you do have thermal on cpu right,if so might want to check it or maybe try replacing it. and i would like to see videos.

Could you do the ingame BENCHMARK and post your results from it please? I would like to see your results.
