I can agree with this. Tried it once, and never tried it again. It works to a point, but it's not really necessary. No real benefit. If you like the iron sights of the gun, do not use a sight attachment (red dot, acog, EOTech, hybrid)
Sometimes I use Ghosts and Dead Silence, sometimes I use one stealth perk. One perk is fine, the two stealth is one of those "it'd be nice to have" situations. Other times, when I want to win a match, I equip the class. It's my "Want to piss me off now? I'll get you when you least expect it, bitch."I tend to not use a suppressor without Ghost and Dead Silence in typical gamemodes, either go full stealth or not stealthy at all.
I don't particularly like laser sights, but that's your opinion. One of the biggest downsides to laser sights is that the lasers can give away your gun trajectory or location.Laser sight is nice if you remember to use it in close range situations and hip fire, otherwise it can give you a better prediction of where you will be aimed in at than your cross hairs when you ADS.
I like the Millimeter Scanner a lot, and I use it from time to time. It's only downside is it disappears every 5 seconds, and re-appears every 5 seconds... There's quite a delay to it. Sometimes, players hide from behind the wall, and disappears the next minute - God. I hate that shit. It's a nice attachment, I like it. I even like the crosshair, too - helps me to focus and zero on my enemies.Millimeter Scanner is an underused attachment that will help show enemies nearby through walls, another one people forget to use even when equiped. If you expect an enemy nearby aim in and take a look around, you can get a huge advantage from knowing exactly where they are around the corner, what position they're in, etc.
You're right, I have good vision, but it's not perfect - so I use the Target Finder sometimes to quickly "find" players from a distance.Target Finder is thee attachment for people that have a hard time identifying enemies that are hiding or at a distance (this attachment really is awesome for people with bad eye sight, it gives them an advantage they need and deserve, for anyone with normal eyesight it's an overpowered "noobie" attachment). It's a broken physics attachment that gives a lot of guns no kick until the last 5 bullets of the clip and when people say they hate Black Ops II they almost always mention it as a reason. If you want to use it, use it. It's a good attachment sometimes the skinnier field of view will get you killed when ADSing, but once you learn to use this it's easy to do good, to hit enemies far away and see enemies from a distance or that are hiding before they see you.
I'm one of those players that designs classes to crutch on. What I mean is most of my classes are flat out basic (most of my classes will have only all rush type perks, all stealth type perks, all defensive play type perks, etc.) with very little variation, it's just the way I play.Sometimes I use Ghosts and Dead Silence, sometimes I use one stealth perk. One perk is fine, the two stealth is one of those "it'd be nice to have" situations. Other times, when I want to win a match, I equip the class. It's my "Want to piss me off now? I'll get you when you least expect it, bitch."

I was playing a match, and I saw a straight red line, I immediately thought "Hm, laser sights" and moved to another area.I did not know the laser sight actually would give you away, I've been caught off guard by people camping with laser sights a lot and never seen it glowing out like a stream of light. Not calling you a liar just never have noticed that. Also most of CODs maps are well-lit so maybe it can be seen, but only in darker situations.
Hm. Interesting.I too absolutely love the crosshairs when ADSing on the millimeter scanner. Yes, the weakness is the 5 second delay, but it makes it a lot more balanced to be honest. Otherwise it would be very powerful. Plus cold blooded will hide ya from it so always gotta be aware even when you don't expect an enemy near you.
