What if you can Cross Console fight ?

It would be alright, as long as they leave us, PC gamers out of the equation. It would be too easy and too dull to keep slaughtering console players because we have the kb&m advantage.

I don't know about you guys, but I hate winning easy games.
Yeah I agree. There's always that one guy playing with a controller with a 0/20 K/D and I feel kinda bad killing them over and over agian :P

We pretty much had this with CODGhosts via hybrid servers. The problem isn't the competitiveness, it's just that when you have an inferior console [player] to yours, you will come across lag all around. I'm playing with PS3 & PS4 players on CODGhosts, and the differences are HUGE. Some people lag the servers as it is, but when you have PS4 players in the match - you either have a good time with them, or you have a shitty nightmare in your hand(s). Especially if the PS4 player is using some kind of lagswitch that can freeze your framerate and stutter. Not a pretty picture. I wish I could report folks on PS4, from my PS3. Because that's bullshit. PS4 is a powerful system AS IS, why the fuck do you need a fucking LAGSWITCH!?

I really think this would be a lot of fun. I know there's a technical side to it that I don't understand, how they'd be able to cross it like that, but I think it would be great. I can't imagine there's any benefits from one platform to the next, so it's not like all of one side will dominate. It would just open up the playing field A LOT.

huh? There was no cross platform for ghost on Ps3/Ps4. Internet functions also have no effect on ps4 being able to produce more effects on the screen. If anything Ps3 players would have the advantage because you could essentially see farther with less particle effects and bloom. More or less not a lag switch as much as knowing how to use a firewall when your host.

Sounds like you never played Ghosts on either PS3/PS4 or Xbox 360/One. I have been playing Ghosts since launch. Every time I find someone lagging (or cheating), and I check the PSN profile, it gives me an error sometimes or most of the time - that tells me either he's cheating, or it's a PS4 player. I have seen this "glitch" a few times in COD4, or other COD titles, but those were isolated, small scale problems - in CODGhosts... It was plentiful.

The PS4 version of Ghosts initially had these jumpy framerate buffers, I forgot what it was called. But it WAS cross-platform gaming. Those hybrid servers put Ghosts PS3 players, and Ghosts PS4 players in the same match. Activision just can't say it and confirm it. Because whether you realize it or not, Microsoft does almost the same thing with "same version" games like Ghosts on Xbox Live. There's a contract and that's why there's no real talk about Hybrid Servers or hell, these dedicated servers that was promised with AW.

So, you and I can only guess.

Oh, and FYI: I have a router, so firewall is already in.

mmmk, lol Don't know where you got that info from. But, I highly doubt it.

I am not talking about firewall on router. everyone has a firewall on a router, and their pretty basic. But that is besides the point. If you get host you can boot people by having a firewall installed on your PC. You can also get host by using a firewall on your pc. This has been around since halo 2. Also used extensively by people on GoW 2 with how dominating host advantage was.

Gotta keep up with the latest news as it comes, that includes rumors. Most of the big rumors usually are correct; some are announced to confirm it, some has to be seen to be confirmed. My experience with CODGhosts confirms the whole "Hybrid Servers pits same brand consoles against each other" rumor.

For example, developers has been mum about the whole resolutiongate thing, and the only way to confirm resolution/framerate specs is by actually playing the game.

Another example: Zombies has been rumored since the first half of October, and wasn't confirmed (well, semi-confirmed) until some folks beat the game. How we get Zombies? It's not what you think, it's a bonus round in Exo-Survival, instead. And GameStop confirmed that the zombies mode will be a major focus-point of the DLC's.

Oh, I see what you mean.
