wired mouse or wireless

i have a logitech g502 hero wired mouse and really like it but im thinking of going to g502 wireless or the g pro wireless so what are others using and why.

I have tried wireless mice in the past and didn't like them, battery issues or latency have put me off.

Newer Logitech mice have fixed both issues, if I ever got a wireless mouse, I would look at a Logitech first.

The G Pro looks like an uncomplicated design, it is good for both left- and right-handed players with additional buttons on each side while the G 502 with its recharging mouse pads means you will never need to pull out a cable for an emergency charge and play session.

The G502 looks better but costs a lot more and only really makes sense if you make use of the extra buttons on the mouse since you won't spend much time looking at your mouse while you're playing games to enjoy the better looks.

I do find my mouse cable to be a pain point for me, then again, removing the cable and adding a transmitter and batteries adds weight, you might find that a disadvantage but should be able to adapt.

I have a wireless gaming trackball.. M-XT3DR... Love it..

Like KBD said, there are battery issues.. A battery lasts a few months or so, but when it does go out it's invariably in the middle of a Warzone match and I am scrambling in the middle of looting to change out the battery...

Annoying, but not enough to switch to a wired trackball...

What sounds like a good idea in principle is a bad idea in practice.

Constantly charging your battery seriously diminishes the lifespan of that battery by causing additional wear.

Just like on your smartphone, you should only charge it when the power levels drop below 20% and then stop at 80% to allow that battery to last a lot longer.

Swapping out batteries on a mouse is easier than it is with a smartphone, but for me, the idea of having a constantly charging device is a bad idea. Unless it has AI to manage when it draws charge from the pad, like my smartphone, charges to 80% overnight and then stops, but will start charging again to top up my battery to full at the time my alarm sounds.

well i purchased the logitech charging pad and the logitech g pro mouse ive been reviewing it for 3 days and im going for it. it has nothing but great reviews. so ill let you know.

WOW.. That's a hefty price for a gamer mouse.. But the charging pad is a pretty nifty idea...

Be interested in how it fares for ya...

so far its awsome the pad comes with a hard mat and a soft mat so whichever you like. im going to play with the mouse for a few days. it feels nice and all but i may switch it out for the 502 wireless. ihave 502 wired now and really like how it feels. more updates to come.
