Warzone Aim Assist For PC'ers..

Borrowing my grandsons' PS4 controller for a day or so... Going to determine once and for all if TPTB give an aimbot to the console or the controller...

Since I am not well-versed in game mechanics if anyone has any "tests" or ideas to try that can help make the determination, feel free to chime in...

Start a private game with 1 other player, get that person to stand still and use the controller to move your reticle left to right and right to left so that it passes through that person.

Record, change controller settings/option, rinse and repeat until you have tried most of the settings that you feel make sense to you.

What you are looking for is how when you smoothly move in direction or the other, how the reticle responds or movement of that reticle reacts to empty space and what changes when that space is occupied by another player.

Does it slow down, snap to target, or stick on the target etc...

Once you have got all that for a stationary target, get your target to run through the reticle and see what happens if you are just using ADS but keeping a stationary view.

Finally, try with you scanning round left to right while your other player runs right to left and vice versa, before getting your opponent to try taking evasive maneuvers while you try to aim at them.

Keep changing what ever settings you can find to adjust response settings, strength or anything else that might be related.

If your grandson (grandson? I always pictured you as being younger) has the game on his Playstation, then go through the same tests on there and see if there is a difference in the responses when you do.

I am just shy of 60... Had my first (and hopefully last) triple bypass open heart surgery on Thanksgiving 2019 with a follow-up to replace shattered ribs with a metal plate in Jun of 2020. Painful but it can stop up to a 9mm round....

I'll see if I can borrow the PS4 as well.. But that would probably have to wait for the weekend.. I can barely get away with a match during the week on my PC due to my wife's need of all the bandwidth for her work...
