PS5 COD Apps

If the COD games are in one application, why do you have to exit to play another COD game. If you're playing Modern Warfare game you I have to exit that application and enter the COD Cold War application in order to play it, why? or maybe I missed something. Help?

This is the Cold War app. I will have to exit this in order to play Modern Warfare. How come I just cannot switch games within the app?
