I can't believe that when you go from performance to quality settings you get a 50% drop in frame rates.

I shot my last videos using in game settings, I think I will try the GeForce Experience options next for the same comparison between performance and quality.

When I get the chance that is, we have had unexpected guests this evening, I've not been able to try.

what fps are you looking for from videos i watch i see 70 to 80 but not sure of the settings. what are frame rates you are expecting and on what settings.
He is seeing lower frame rates and only managing between 25% to 60% of expected performance. His average is reaching where he should be with his 1% low FPS rates.

in my videos i see the vram is lower for the higher fps. i have not went through each setting to see which is making the biggest difference but i will tonight.

That should be expected, reducing texture and detail levels are required to increase performance levels.

Are other games playing as they should do?

Check your gaming performance in other titles and see how they compare to the results bring reported in YouTube videos.

in all my games performance settings through geforce are great fps and in optimal they drop also which is expected but even in optimal and lower frame rates the game play is awsome.

I actually don't play any other game beyond COD...

I am hoping to get Far Cry 6 soon... LOVE the Far Cry series...

CoD MW/Warzone is one of those titles that does appear to have its own unique set of issues on some systems where other games run fine but CoD doesn't.

I would check other titles to see if all games are underperforming too.

Look at what games you own, Google the game plus your CPU/GPU configuration to find out what the expected FPS results should be. Install that title and check to see how close you are to the expected performance.

ok first off i dont like that gpu 111f temp thats goin on there and i dont know what that buf is and next is the only thing going to give you more gpu performance percentage is a better processor. when i went from a r5 3600 to r5 5600x i saw a 15 percent gain in gpu performance which does move up and down depending on whats going on in game. maybe the temp is ok what is 111f in celcious hmm did i spell that right. if not thats what a ged gets me lmao. AND MORE GPU PERFORMANCE PERCENTAGE EQUALS MORE FPS!

Yea, I noticed that too.. Maybe I'll use AfterBurner to tweak the fan power.. I have 3 fans on the RTX so cooling shouldn't be an issue.. If tweaking the fans don't work, I could get a small tabletop fan and direct it at the RTX, just to see if it will help...

I have always maintained that if the word conveys the proper meaning, who gives a rip if it's spelled right or not.. :D

Yea, I was bummed when I learned I only had a 9th Gen setup and not a 10th... Maybe I'll tool around to see what I can sell this MB/CPU/RAM for and upgrade again...

But even given the fact that my MB/CPU is older, I should STILL see some increase in the FPS... The fact that, throughout all the hardware upgrades and the tweaking of the GFX settings, the FPS has remained more or less constant is what leads to believe that the RTX is actually defective.. Still working on a replacement/upgrade but support from the company is less than stellar... I bet I get a response if I stopped paying the weekly bill, eh?? :D

Thanx for the continuing assist.. It's very much appreciated..
