question of the day?

but is it better just staying with 4 sticks or going to 2 ,keyboard posted some info on this also. i have good ram but im seeing where the cpu doesnt have to work as hard with 2 sticks and performance is marginal.

I hesitate to answer this question due to the cost of a wrong answer. There is lots of debate on 2 vs 4 for any motherboard. I prefer 2 over 4 personally. If you can buy a true matched set of ram that you can try but have the freedon to return if they dont do the job then I would say go for it and see what happens.

I live in Canada and I know that while ram is not cheap it is not horrible either. But, and this is a BIG but money spent that doesnt work is money wasted. If you can return for a full refund then check it out.

AntiCheatAgent94 is correct in the statement that 64g of ram is pretty much overkill and really does nothing to improve your gaming enjoyment. Bragging rights is about all it does for you.

Strictly from a Power Usage requirement, 2 would be better than 4...

That link shows for 2x8 for 16g total. I thought that you would be looking for 32g total and if so then look at this instead (you may have posted the wrong link).......

that link i posted, i bought two of them to give me 4 sticks. so would it be better and worth 100 bucks to run 2 16 instead.

I would say yes. Newegg has a good return policy so if you dont like the 2x16 or they dont improve your performance then you can always return them.
