Roberts-Obispo Error Effecting All Games?

Hi Guys,

Sorry bit of a long one but having some trouble with multiplayer connections.

We have a Series X downstairs which is mine and a Series S upstairs which is my sons. He downloaded an update yesterday for Call Of Duty on his Series S and now multiplayer doesn’t seem to work anymore and gives us the ‘Roberts-Obispo’ error code, but since it has he hasn’t been able to play any multiplayer on any game on his Xbox.

We are both connected to the same WiFi network, i have tested the connection, multiplayer connection and NAT connection on both consoles and they both say everything is okay, I can play multiplayer fine on my Series X, however since the COD update on his Series S, multiplayer won’t work for any game even though the connections say everything is fine. Even Minecraft and Forrnite are not letting him play multiplayer.

As I said, all network connection tests say his connections are fine, he is connected to the internet and can download games from the game pass/store so the connection isn’t an issue etc, and there are no multiplayer restrictions in the family settings.

We have tried uninstalling COD and even done a factory reset of the console twice! And it still won’t work.

Just wondering if anyone has had similar issues and how they fixed it?

I have contacted Microsoft directly too but they didn’t seem to know how to resolve the issue either and told me to check some forums.

They should call it Activision incompetent crap error

I've been having the same issue. I even wiped all of my hard drives and factory reset my router. The only online game I can play is the Crew Motorfest. Valorant says I have no Internet connection. Fortnite says I'm signed in elsewhere. I get the same error code for Call of Duty. Contacted Activision and they were useless. Contacted Microsoft and they just wanted me to do everything I did before.

Run an update on your console. It worked for me.
