Account registration error

Hello

I was hoping to start my first MW2 game last night but after loading the game and downloading the latest update, it wouldn't let me register/sign up an account. I've tried today via activison.com and profile.callofduty.com and still get the 'unexpected error' pages.

I managed to create a battle.net account but assume this can't be used for Cod. Nothing on the main or support twitter accounts about this and also don't see much online.

Does anyone know a workaround or am I just going to have to wait until it's fixed?

From the Battlenet site....

If you receive an error during account creation, delete the cache and cookies in your browser and try again. If the issue persist, contact us.

Thanks for the tip, I did try that already with no luck though.
