Honestly activision suck now I’m sick of them I hope they lose a lot of money on the new game because you get banned for anything these days it’s ok for people to be racist to you and call you all name under sun yet you say one word and they ban you for 14 days oh not to mention they still let all the cheats on yeh great priorities honesty can’t be arsed with them just because there is too many fairy’s in the world and they go crying and get away with it I’m sorry it’s and adult game can’t handle the banter then don’t play and go play Minecraft

Well sure it is an adult game but this begs the question of why do so many "Adults" carry on like 8 year olds that dont know better about what they are saying. There is also the fact that many "adults" have lost the ability to truly talk trash while ingame. Now it is apparently only meaningful and dare I say cool if you string together as many racist, sexist and moronic words and phrases to make oneself sound freakin awesome and someone to be looked upon as awesome to the point that you fear them in battle. Sheeeeesh.
As a 65 year old retired truck driver I know the difference and I do not have to resort to really stupid rhetoric to play this game. My opinion, not nearly enough have been banned yet. I hope they all buy the next game and continue their stupidity and get banned quickly and mercilessly.
As far as the cheaters go I hope the AI improves and the punishment is an immediate lifetime ban along with a for real hardware ban/ip ban.
Dont kid yourself about Activision as they will still sell enough games to add to their huge bank accounts. The 30 or so people who have come here declaring bravely that they will boycott and not buy the next game will really hurt the company when they lose those few thousands of lost money.

Its just annoying because I am one to play for fun but when someone starts for no reason then that’s when I will say summit but they punish the wrong people on theses games and thats why lots of people are getting pissed off with it now all because the world is the way it is and u can’t say anything these days coz someone takes offence to anything
Sure it is annoying. I play for fun too and since I dont know any of the players I dont need to hear them either. I almost always play without any of the chat options enabled. I just play the game with the normal game sounds audible. That way I dont hear the dumb fucks who have to talk smack like they are stars in some piss poor movie.
Thats your opinion but not everyone’s is like that I have met a few decent people on there and now we play together everyday but my point is why is it that someone like me who plays for fun who is the nicest person ever never says out unless someone starts on me I said one word that’s it but it’s ok for people to be racist they have priorities all wrong that’s what am saying

66 and retired also...COD is as lot of fun if you can get past the kids that don't play like a team in team games, the sometimes piss poor hit detection, the DEI skill based play, kids that sacrifice teammates just to get that melee kill, that stupid exaggerated slide that the game character does (highly unrealistic)...I generally keep the room muted unless the banter is entertaining but I never talk to other players and I never trash talk (they're mostly only kids after all)...when I used to play GRAW 2, I played with the same group of guys, in Graw we had the ability to kick out players that were disruptive or too immature to be useful and we actually communicated and strategized but that's not possible with today's current crop of players

I’m also 60’s + guy here who loves the game . I play with my Son-in-law and we don’t use game chat when we’re playing, we use PS Chat , never no issues with garbage talk while playing. When I do use in chat I ignore the trash talk as it’s meaningless . As for cheating I too hope it gets controlled are I’ll be moving on to something else . I think console and pc shouldn’t be allowed to coexist imop .
