This is rediculous, that COD have not updated their server to allow new PSN account (post 2019 update) to connect to COD servers is crazy.
It is possible that the guy got his issued fixed and never bothered to post back with what helped him out. Since the post was from Nov 12 I doubt he will help you with a solution and you may have to wait for someone to possibly have a solution for you.

Yes they do, anyone with a PSN account prior to 2019 can play.

Still no meaningful feedback. Come on guys, this is a problem not only on MW3 but also WW2, Ghost, black ops and many more. Surely this should be a simple fix to update the COD servers to allow online play for PSN account created after 2019! That players have to resort to installing firmware (as per this link:

) in order to play online. I am not prepared to do so as I am very much against this. That COD developers have not fixed this problem in fact makes them complicit as it gives players no choice but to go the illigal route!
