PC for me man. I mean I dont want to go into detail on what it can and cant do. But I just found out that you can already emulate the PS3 on the PC. When I saw that my brain just exploded into euphoria. Plus emulators man, playing the old games for that nostalgia feeling.

I'll give you that, PC has a huge selection of games. And from what I've seen, the graphics blow any old console out of the water, it's not even close.

I think that PCs are going to become much more popular and engulf consoles soon unless console developers really step up the consoles. PCs are pretty far ahead they have better graphics and arguably easier to use plus you have all the features of a PC.The only thing that I think consoles do better over PC is that more people play on console and its easier to connect with those people and play a game.

At the moment, I would have to say PC is my favourite platform for entertainment and gaming. If it was a year ago when I only had a PS3 for gaming, sure I would have said console gaming was the best. However, now that I have a decent PC with a good graphics card, i've witnessed why so many people turn to PC gaming. It feels more like you are in control, the keyboard layout is a lot more immersive aswell.

I've played extensively on both and I have to say, as much as I enjoy console gaming, nothing beats aiming and precision like the mouse and keyboard. Nothing. You really know who is skilled when you play on the PC because it's a no BS way to playing an FPS. I'm also pretty sure the hitboxes are smaller, further making it take more skill.

I would say PC is overall the better gaming system. But when it comes to playing socially, I'll stick with my console. I can't invite a few friends over to drink beer and play BO2 on PC can I? Not to mention Microsoft seems to be taking a more social approach with Xbox. They just bought Skype, and I'm wondering how they'll incorporate that into the next gen console. Just a few thoughts. :D

Desktop PC is Master Race LELELELELEL.

Seriously, PC is the master race. If you have a Mid-End PC with a Mid-End graphics card then you are set to go!

FPS Multiplayer games on the PC are MUCH more enjoyable for there are certain mods that people make for the pc game.

PC just all around is better than consoles.

I was mostly a Xbox 360 dude for like 2 years, then I decided to get a PS3. I got more games for my PS3 in 3 months than I got for my Xbox 360 in 2 years. My brother built me a gaming PC, and I haven't played PS3 in like 6 months because I just love PC gaming. I love the feel of a keyboard and mouse :)

I think both have advantages.

In consoles you just put disc and you can play, and you know that the graphics are going to be the best that the system can get.

On the other hand with PC you can upgrade it whenever you want and stay "up to date" with the latest. Also, you can get better graphics than consoles.

Right now I prefer a console over a PC because of the exclusives titles that you don't get on PC.

Huge point here. Consoles are so much more social than PC's. The only way you can play multi-player with PC is online. There is also LAN, but I don't know anybody that goes to their buddies house with their PC and monitor to play a few rounds in Call of Duty.

Console is good for gaming but I love to play my games on my pc of high configuration. I know pc lacks in many ways comparing with console but i like to work and play on pc. My choice (Y)

I play only on my PC. especialy FPS games, like Call Of Duty. It just feels like they are made for a keyboard and a mouse, rather than for a controller. I have played Call Of Duty on Xbox aswell and it wasn't bad, just the fact that it felt like it was creaming for a mouse and a keyboard. Ofcourse that is just my opinion and others are free to disagree. The only fact that I like on consoles is that the Call Of Duty community on them is bigger than on PC. On Xbox almost everyone has a micraphone and it feels nice to talk to people in a match while playing, as long as they aren't doing any annoying mic spam.

I like the PC. It took a moment to get used to the PC as a gaming system. But, now that I am used to it, I like it better. I also like the handheld gaming system.

I agree with you....pc is better than console. The graphics usually blows old consoles but pc don't.

Console. I have a 60 inch flat screen so my gaming experience is pretty good. Plus, it gets me away from the computer for a few hours and that's always good so I don't develop CVS. Computer Vision Syndrome. I need to get some new games though. But there's not many out there that interest me at the time. Other than the new Dead Island.

There are so many reasons why PC is better than console and only one drawback.
In my opinion, the only drawback is the actual price of a gaming PC these days. However, the benefits of getting a good machine are endless! Current generation games with HD Textures and set on Ultra graphics settings look stunning i can't even describe them. You have not lived if you have not tried Crysis 3 on maxed out settings :D In addition, PC players enjoy an awesome modding community which adds tons of more gameplay even to some of the old titles out there. Also, If you are a console player that cannot imagine playing a game without a controller - PC's support all kinds of gamepad accesories so you will get what you want!

I originally was primarily a console gamer (only really playing point and clicks and strategy games on PC), but after having numerous issues with my Playstation 3 breaking I built my own gaming rig, and I couldn't be happier! It's very easy (and inexpensive during Steam sales) to get a decent library quickly, and the games are much more modular on PC, when compared to consoles.

I prefer the PC generally. There's just so many games to play on it, and I love the way you can freely mod most the games you get for it. I have consoles too and I play them vastly, but overall, I'd have to pick the PC.

I'm more of a PC guy myself since I have never owned a gaming console after the PS1. We're only a middle-class family so we cannot afford all the grand luxuries the other kids are enjoying. I own a gaming laptop right now, and I'm happy with its performance. It has never failed me when it comes to running games, and I couldn't ask for more.

NEVER OWNED A CONSOLE POST PLAYSTATION 1! Whoa! I wonder how many guys like you there are out there! Many hardcore gamers aren't known for going PC so early in full.
