Help with the Maps

Nana Girl

Recruit
I want to see if anyone else is having this issue with voting for what map you want to play. I play on a PS5. When the selected maps come up for you to vote the players list shows up on the right hand side. If a player is highlighted (like I am going to inspect that play) I can't jump back to the maps in order to vote. This just started 2 weeks ago. I know there are a few other people that are having the same issue. If there is anyone reading this that has this issue, have you been able to fix it? And if so, please tell me how. Thank you for any help.

I too had the exact same problem on the Xbox series X and it lasted for a couple of weeks before being fixed or fixing itself. I think these things happen because the installed game is getting too big with additional features which cause conflicts in the core game.

Ah ok, I did not know that being as I am a pc player.

However I will share this even though you are probably aware of these following steps...

1. In-Game Content Management
Call of Duty allows you to check and manage individual parts of the game (like Campaign, Multiplayer, or Warzone) rather than the entire massive file.
  • Launch Call of Duty on your console.
  • Navigate to the game's Settings and select Manage Files.
  • Here, you can check which specific packs or files are missing, corrupted, or need updating, and delete or reinstall them individually.

2. Rebuild Database (PlayStation)
If you are getting corrupted data errors, rebuilding the database organizes your files and fixes hard drive or SSD reading issues. [1, 2, 3]
  • Turn your PlayStation completely off (not in Rest Mode).
  • Connect your controller to the console using a USB cable.
  • Hold the Power Button until you hear two beeps, which will boot the system into Safe Mode.
  • Select option Clear Cache and Rebuild Database, then choose Rebuild Database.

3. Clear Persistent Storage (Xbox)
Xbox consoles do not have a standard "Verify and Repair" tool for individual game files, but you can clear cached data that might be causing game crashes or file-reading errors. [1, 2]
  • Press the Xbox Button to open the guide, go to Profile & system, then Settings.
  • Navigate to Devices & connections > Blu-ray > Persistent storage.
  • Select Clear persistent storage.
  • Note: If you suspect a larger system error, you can also reset your Xbox's operating system by going to System > Console info > Reset console while making sure to select Reset and keep my games & apps.
