one thing im trying is i went into windows defender and set to default settings. i found this info online and after two rounds of dmz no crash so we,ii see how it goes.

Guys...,

Don't advise people to format and reinstall Windows to get a game working!!!

That's the LAST thing you should have to do if your computer is working correctly otherwise..., not to mention most people have little clue just how much that involves, getting all the correct drivers for stuff reinstalled etc..., Plus Windows will be updating for days unless you have a very current copy and a gigabyte connection...

As one who recommends that a lot, I can't argue with your caveats..

But in my defence, I always point out that it IS an option of last resort...

And many who come here to seek assistance are, for the most part, true blue gamers and getting their COD up and running supersedes most other priorities on their PC..

Having said that, I will admit that there is a lot of follow-up after doing an FnR (Format & Re-install) and I could probably elaborate more when I give the option..

I understand where your coming from and I get it.
Its been my experience that most knuckleheads create 10x more problems reinstalling Windows then they had in the first place, lol, so I'm a bit touchy about that
