Just started last week with the aim trainer from KovaaK. Have any of you already expirience with KovaaK and Warzone?

At the moment I´m mainly using "flick" and yesterday I started with tracking. Now I´m wondering which program is the best to improve the skills in Warzone? Is it a mixture of flicking and tracking?

I forget where I found how to set up Kovaak for Warzone - think it was a YT video. But it said since Warzone uses Blizzard for PC you want to set your Sensivity Scale and FOV Measurements to Overwatch, which uses the same settings. Also your Horizontal Sensitivity and FOV should match your specific in-game settings for Warzone - mine are 12 and 80.

As far as Challenges to practice - by far the most important skill in Warzone is tracking. Flicking is good for a quick 1-hit kill headshot in games like CS Go, but in Warzone with ARs requiring 12-14 bullets to kill at longer ranges you are going to need to practice tracking skill. I use Cata IC Long Strafes for CQC distance tracking and Acended Tracking v3 for Mid-Range practice.

For precision aiming I use 1Wall6Targets Small and 1Wall6Targets TE. "TE" is larger targets and good for quick flick-style precision aiming for body shots, while "Small" shrinks the target and lets you practice the same quick flick-style precision aiming for headshots.

I used to practice Reflex/Flick shots when I played CS Go but found less use for that in Warzone - the 1Wall6Targets does the job well enough.

Wanted to follow up and say how useful this program is. I got it for free thanks to unused Steam credits I obtained back when PUBG allowed you to sell loot, but I think it only costs like what $10? I was mainly a CS Go player in the past, so my precision aiming has always been good but my tracking was awful. Using this program for the last month has helped greatly - my tracking scores are now up near the 85th percentile, still well short of my precision ranks, but MUCH higher than where I started. I definitely notice a difference in game - I'm more confident than ever in my ability to win CQC gunfights thanks to my increased tracking ability.

Thanks a lot for your help. I´m still using Kovaak and it seems that everything gets slowly better in Warzone.

Just made some changes about the mouse dpi from 1600 to 800. It now feels like that a long way is needed to get to a target which is not close to where the center of the screen.

You'll get used to it. I play on 400dpi - lower dpi requires more arm movement when looking around, but allows for much finer aim once you're actually ready to fire at someone. But keep at it - like I said I've noticed huge progress in my tracking skill from using that program.

Which sensitivity do use in Kovaak and Warzone? I´m using atm 6 and on the Logitech Gaming Software 800 dpi.

The 360 feels at the moment really challenging in Kovaak. The ways of the mouse are really long and if the target is moving far to the right I have to pick up the mouse and place it more to the left so I can track the target more to the right. Hope I wrote it right :)

Sensitivity Scale: Overwatch
Horizontal Sensitivity: 12
Vertical Locked to Horizontal: Yes
FOV Measurements: Overwatch
FOV Slider: 80

So you're using a higher dpi and a lower Warzone sensitivity compared to mine. I have no idea how those combine together to affect your true sensitivity. Your 800 dpi and 6 sensitivity may correspond quite similarly to my 400 and 12, since my dpi is 1/2 of yours and my sensivity is 2x yours. Who knows. For what it's worth, after some quick googling Shroud uses 450 and 7.5, so his overall sensitivity is going to be a little lower than mine.

However I am used to 400dpi from years of CS Go. If you just turned yours down from 1600, I get why 800 would feel like it's crawling to you. As I said, just practice with it and you'll get used to it.

You definitely need more mousepad space if you're going to use a lower dpi. Lower dpi is better for precise aiming but it's going to require you to make bigger sweeping arm movements to move around and do 180s etc. So if you don't have the desk space that might not be a proper option.

The way you describe having to lift your mouse to keep tracking a target sounds like you are a "wrist-aimer", where you plant the base of your wrist on the mousepad and do all your aiming by pivoting at your wrist. This is what I do as well and I do find I need to pick up my mouse sometimes if I'm not careful. You will need to learn to "un-plant" your wrist at times and make more sweeping arm motions when you're moving around and then "re-plant" your wrist when you want to make precise aiming shots.

Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot. I played yesterday Warzone and it was horrible. But I think it will get better soon as I used to play with high dpi. I already ordered a bigger mousepad.

I saw a video yesterday about wrist-aiming and arm-aiming. Try to use my arm now if the target is on the other side.

Thanks again! I´m sure it well get better soon if I keep on practicing in Kovaak
