Multiplayer

Does anyone here still play WaW multiplayer? Once in a while I jump online and go into the train station to play around with handguns. Lately though I've noticed that the skill level has went down. It's a shame, because I did enjoy this multiplayer when there was a higher challenge than I could handle.

I still play it every now and again but i can see what you mean about skill level going down, its getting a bit boring to play.

What system do you play on? I have great trouble even finding a match that doesn't have someone noclipping around or invincible or that has some sort of ridiculous mod. I play on the Xbox and when I do find a match that isn't modded, which may I say is very rare, there are few players and none of them are all that good. It seems everyone has moved on to the newer CoDs, which is really a shame since WaW is my favorite and in my opinion the best. Maybe I'd have better luck if I tried playing it on the computer instead but I don't want to buy it just to find out that everything is the same as on the Xbox.

I play it occasionally when I need a break. This is definitely one of the better CoD games out there. But it's become a little wonky with modded lobbies and such. Since most of the cannon fodder has moved on, it's hard doing well against die hard fans of WaW. I much prefer to playing it with friends than solo these days.

Yeah, I still play it now and again. But as mentioned above by Khronic, there are still quite a few modded lobbies which you're occasionally thrown into which can get annoying. But I personally still find the game enjoyable and refreshing, especially the prototype guns haha.

WAW multilayer i was not a big fan of then i played it and prestiged and then i got bored of it so i then went back to playing cod4 ( to me the best cod ).

My uncle still plays on PC, but he only really plays a D-Day mod he has installed. I dunno which one or how popular it is, but he's on daily. I play every once in a while and it seems like almost all the good players have moved on.

Yeah, most of the players online now aren't very good, but occasionally I'm put into a lobby with great players.. But only sometimes.
The COD4 multiplayer was much better in my opinion though..

I too like zombies more than multiplayer, but only on pc. I don't have any console or play station.
And i love playing on my pc. yeah

I as well play it sporadically. But as far as offline play is concerned, I find it the best to play multiplayer campaign mode. My best friend and i like to play a lot, but unfortunately we have different systems. So when we get a little bored playing mw3 survivior mode, we find ourselves ripping through familiar lands on veteren. Feeling the nostalgia of the first time we played. But i do prefer to play offline or solo than to play online with others.

I have never really went back to WaW as it got hacked so quickly and never really recovered.I would like to know if it is playable on PS3 as I would consider revisiting it, mainly for the Zombies mode.
