So umm not having played DMZ until season 3 and 4 really. I imagine there will be a reset in season 5. Which will possibly also be the last for MWII as most likely a new MW will come next year?

Hmm I seen some rumors it would probably get pushed to 2024 But a Christmas release this year WOULD make sense
