When I try to launch call of duty mobile it gets stuck on "getting version info" and just keeps loading that part over and over, how do I fix this

The mobile version requires a very strong internet connection. That could be the reason right there. Also, if you have lots of other apps running in the background then rest assured that it will prevent CODM from working properly.
Goggle the problem as there are lots of articles about this happening. Could depend on what you are using too, apple vs android.
