DMZ Successful Exfil...

AntiCheatAgent94

The Equalizer
OK I was actually able to successfully exfil with some nice gear..

A LARGE Backpack and 2-plate body armor..

Will I have these permanently now?? Or will I lose them the next mission I die in??

DMZ is seeming more and more like FAR CRY... Which is not necessarily a bad thing..

I could live with most of the changes.. But respawns have definitely got to come back.. One of the biggest reasons I played Plunder was because it allowed respawns...

I assumed that DMZ would be similar to Plunder (which was my fave mode), and sad to see I can't redeploy/respawn. I like the idea of depending on teamwork, despite how most people are KD kids on consoles, worried about how many kills they get, and ignoring the missions......then I have to rez them while getting shot. That's fun. Then one min later, they abandon the team and fly off across the map alone. lol so yeah....

But, for all the morons I run with, there's a lot of decent people that do want to slow down, plan and just play. I do get tired of the sweatfests, so seeing a good team with me is nice, and the game structure goes smoothly.

We run in places and loot to get gear to take out in exfil, so might as well be Plunder 2.0. I miss the exploring, relaxed setting to where we can roam around freely, and engage in combat where ever or not at all, and just loot. And now we exfil instead of running down a timer.

They need to make exfils invisible to other players, since the average person is a piece of garbage, those garbage people come and troll exfils, starting areas, etc. This isn't 20 years ago, when as gamers we got along via the one thing we have in common, and I had actual firends I would group with twice a week to play with, like in Quake III, Neverwinter Nights, Delta Force II, Operation Flashpoint, etc...

Now it's a sweatfest with cussing kids, and giggling "men" in their 30's calling people "dog water". When and why did this happen? I blame "sOsHuL ME-Dia" like Twitch, etc where people can post their competitive attitudes to the point ot being toxic and rude.

After 40+ years of gaming, I've discovered there's two types of players: Players and trolls. Trolls don't really care about the game, the content, the fun and teamwork involved. They see it as an opportunity to piss off other people and giggle about it because it makes them feel powerful.

If being a dickcheese in a video game is what makes you feel some sort of confidence and power, then your life is garbage because you're pathetic and never accomplished anything past being "Sandwich Artist" or fry dunker. Keep your insecurites to yourself, as we al have issues.

Just play and be mature.
