Activision has updated their support page after several months. It now reads as follows.
Support Availability Impacted - As the global COVID-19 situation evolves, we’re taking cautionary steps to help protect our employees as much as possible. As a result, you may experience increased waiting times or severely reduced live chat and support availability when contacting us. We apologize for any inconvenience.
I have tried reaching out to the company through the support page, tweeter, facebook, ask an ambassador, reddit, and ask an ambassador and several other ways even contacting Xbox directly. I got as far as getting a support ticket only to get an email later saying that the new update should have fixed my issues with the game.
