Geee

Recruit
New to COD and play mainly Warzone. Liked the PKM but wanted no stock a Level 44 Attachment. Bought the MAZE bundle which has PKM with 200 mag which is a level 42 attachment. So got it to level 2 levels to 44 and have the no stock attachment. Got the purchase but my PKM stayed at level 31. Why didn't I get the PKM level 42?????

You need the full Call of Duty: Modern Warfare experience to customize your weapons, and carry it over into Loadout Drops. The Warzone version of weapon customization is pretty limited to predefined Blueprints, if I recall. Someone else with the stand-alone Warzone can correct me here, but in general, you want the full $60 Modern Warfare to get the whole experience,.

I have the full version. Will go to multiplayer and see if I can figure out what you mean by moving to warzone loadout.

If I am reading this right: You bought MAZE, and your PKM Blueprint will stick at level 32. Ok. Since you said you have the full CoDMW game, then... The Blueprint is its own self-contained weapon. You can use it, but I think you can't upgrade it beyond what it is. You CAN Frankenstein the Blueprint, but leveling up from what I understand, stays where the the actual Blueprint is. I think it's designed as is, for a developer reason: Balancing. You have to realize that Blueprints were designed with Warzone in mind, when developing Modern Warfare.

I hope that's more clearer.

My suggestion? Find the normal weapon, Frankenstein it with the same exact attachments, and upgrade the weapon that way.

Thank you. Will try and get my money back.
Blueprints was always weapon cosmetics. You're not going to get a refund. Just move on and just remember not to buy Blueprints for what you think you want. Buy it because of the cosmetic design. If you played Advanced Warfare, you'll know this is basically weapon variants with a little more customization.

When you buy a blueprint - you can upgrade/change the gun IF you have unlocked the gun within the Multiplayer (i.e., you need to buy the game and play through to a certain level). If you have the game, and have played to a certain level, you can change out items on a blueprint through Gunsmith - as far as the level upgrades will allow. Otherwise, the blueprint is locked. Though this sucks - it does allow you a more powerful weapon without playing through and unlocking weapons and upgrades. Pluses - minuses...

I couldn't have said it better. :)

Thanks again...i'm learning

Blueprints just allow you to use whatever attachmentes come on the Blueprint before you've actually grinded to unlock them. But you still unlock stuff at a normal pace from Level 1.

So if you buy a PKM Blueprint and it comes with a level 31 suppressor, level 12 barrel, level 18 optic, level 26 grip, and level 22 extended mag, your PKM is still a level 0 as far as unlocking everything. It just means you get to use those 5 attachments that you don't have yet while you grind to actually unlock attachments, starting frmo level 0. Once you unlock new attachments you can freely add them to replace others on the Blueprint, but you still have to level it like normal.

Thank You! I finally got it but it doesn't mean I like it. LOL

As mentioned by others above, they do also provide some cosmetics you can't get just by using the gun to level it up. But in terms of actual functionality, all a Blueprint does is make leveling a gun easier by letting you have some attachments you normally can't use at level 1.
