Xbox 720 or PS4

Have you guys been following the rumors and releases for these two consoles so far? I'm leaning towards getting the PS4 at this point in the race. Microsoft has really turned me off the past few months. They keep preaching about all of the 720's non-gaming features and how it's going to be the center of the living room, but that isn't what I am looking for. If they keep it up, the 720 won't be the center of my living room and the PS4 will be. On top of that, the new rumor of it being always online with one of Microsoft's reps saying that users should just deal with it on twitter, then Microsoft redacting his comments.

Where are you guys at this point?

Playstation 4 for sure Heard that the 720 is going to be online-only, which is no use to me as my connection goes regularly..

The playstation 4 just seems like a better all round option to me, and most of my friends will probably be getting it too, so for gaming especially the PS4 is the way to go for me. However not much is known about the 720 yet, and apparently there's an upcoming event on the 21st of May, so I'm sure we'll know more then and I'll be able to give you a better answer haha.

I doubt I will buy either of them, I'd rather put the money I would spend on them towards my PC. I'm looking forward to the release however as it should lift some of the current limitations and help the industry move forward.

i will always choose PS4. Microsoft xbox is good gaming console for sure but they treat their customers like slave. I heard
rumour that latest XBOX 720 console will required a always on internet connection & we cannot disconnect connection for more than 3 minutes. There is another statement which can change your opinion if you are going to buy a xbox720. Microsoft has confirmed that its going to block second hand games on the Xbox 72. so no more second hand games with upcoming xbox console.

I'm going to choose the PS4 if I get to buy a next generation console. I've been a Sony supported almost all my gamer life, had the PS1, PS2 and currently own a PS3 and a PSP, so far I've yet to be let down by the games I get to play on each one of them.

I know the new Xbox hasn't been announced yet, so far only rumors are going around, but I have no kind of interest in it, to be honest, I like the 360 controller, feels nice to hold but that's about it when it comes to Microsoft's consoles, I don't get the appeal.

I have not really been following too much of these consoles. I am not thinking of getting one right away. I am thinking I will wait it out for a few months and see what some of the owners of these consoles have to say. I do not want to regret my decision and then have to buy both.

I think I am more stoked for XBOX 720. I just think Play Station and Sony can't show me anything new anymore. I think their bag of tricks is kind of empty by now. X-BOX are the new innovators though.

I have been an Xbox supporter since the first model came out with the huge bulky controllers( I loved those because my hands are big). I also saw the tweet about users should just deal with it because its going to be always on. I have Comcast and my internet doesn't even work half of the time where I live. So if my net goes out I can't play my games? I'm not ok with that at all. I wasn't a fan of the first two PS consoles but I have owned a PS3 for certain games.So I may have to adjust to PS4. Microsoft better take a long look at its business model or pretty soon it will be a company of the past.

The Xbox 720 hasn't even been announced. It hasn't even been confirmed that it's coming out (even though I'm 100 percent sure it is), so how can people say that they prefer Xbox 720. For all we know, it's gonna have 240p graphics and only have the original Xbox games

I'd definitely have to say the PS4. I'm admittingly a PlayStation fan-boy, well maybe that is a little too extreme of a term but I've always favoured Sony over Microsoft. I'm also used to the controls and feel of PS rather than Xbox. Xbox always felt too chunky and un-natural to me, but I guess it's just what you are used to. In terms of specs, PS4 is looking pretty good...I've not seen the 720's specs yet so can't comment on that. It's pretty exciting actually... Just hope that the release is not delayed, but it likely will be.

Well delaying the release, if it helps iron out all the bugs then it's worth it. The last thing anyone wants, is a repeat of what happened when X-box first came out, and there were electrical and power issues that nearly got some people killed. Faulty consoles are no joke.

I would definitely go for the PS4. It just seems like a better all around system then the 720. The PS3 is a better system then the 360 and yet 360 was more poplar. That was only because of the online play and if Sony improves that. Then the PS4 will be the best console to come out in a while.

I agree that the PS3 is better than the 360, but I hope that doesn't start a flame war, lmfao. But yeah, PS3 online servers suck really bad, they're terrible. I hope it's better on the PS4.

The PS3 has always been better. The big issue was the online play. That is why most people got the 360 because online play was pretty good.

I have to pay most bills and can't stand having to buy live every month to play online or just watch some netflix with my girlfriend. I agree, however, I gotta see how the Xbox 720 performs first. I'm thinking of going to Xbox 720 if the online is free, but if not, I'll probably go with the PS4.

This basically describes my attitude.

I have been a bit disappointed regarding the expensive monthly costs of an Xbox 360 versus the Playstation 3. Additionally, the PS4 looks promising. I can't wait to see what the Xbox 720 (or whatever it will be called) will bring to the table in responce to the PS4. I hope the PS4 improves their online experience, or I h ope that Microsoft lowers the Xbox Live cost (which won't happen )

They should consider lowering the costs with all of those ads they cram in there.
