I got onto the web for CAG and I got a notification of my phone maybe getting tracked since it wasn’t a private web well I investigate oh all this crap and I get the same notification and I think to myself wtf well I search into it more and I get this notification saying that I WAS being fuckin tracked and I got pissed don’t fall for him guys he is a child predator trying to get your information which is bs idgaf who you are you don’t do that shit to people fuckin manipulating children dude get tf outta here you piece of shit take down your fuckin thread it’s not cool at all.

I'm going to leave this open to @CAG CheechDogg to respond, but I'm going to let you on a secret: That guy is the owner of the website, and he came to me before posting that very thread. That site is using vBulletin, an ancient forum software. It would require a lot of work to get that notification system working. It's not in the core. It's a plugin that pushes notifications to your phone. It's not tracking you dude. The new version of xenForo has the same thing. It shows a red bubble with numbers telling you that it has new updates. That's the push notification.

So, if you're mad about this, I don't want you freaking out on the next update because it's a core system feature now.

The guy has been a member of this site for a very long time, I think he's a trustworthy person, but if I were you, I would avoid doing this again. I almost locked the thread, and banned you. I do not want politics here. I don't tolerate it, but I'll let the owner respond so you are at ease.

Ok I got a few notifications on my saying that the web he showed was not a private web and o could possibly be getting tracked later after 2 of those notifications I got one saying I was being tracked. Let me put it this way: I don't need tapatalk. But I installed it so I could make it easy for mobile users to register, post, and whatever. I am mostly hands off with Tapatalk until users complain. A user didn't know how to use Tapatalk, so I created a thread specifically for him and similar users. Why? COD is made up of casuals. They're not exactly the kind of community that "sticks around" to talk about COD on a daily basis. I am just making things easy for them to communicate with my site. Same with CAG.

No, I don't. Tapatalk isn't a platform, it's a plugin on top of a forum. This mod, this plugin that you accuse @CAG CheechDogg of doing - is just a plugin for vBulletin. The way things used to work 10 years ago was fundamentally different from today's standard of forum software. When I upgrade to xenForo 2.0. I want you to not freak out.

Lol ... it's not that ancient .. still does the job and I don't like the new vBulletin at all so chose to stick with this version ...
