FPS Issues after season 4 update

Hey everyone, I just updated the game for season 4 and it was running perfectly fine on my laptop, but out of the blue mid game my fps just dropped from 75-80 to 30 plugged in and it refuses to recover, I've tried switching my full screen setting, switching off v-sync, switching my settings to the lowest possible and none of it seems to work, if anyone could help me out with a solution that would be great!
