Hi Everyone
Well, I wanted to add CP points to my MW3 CP points to allow me to buy the Klaus Operator Bundle, I only have 1550 and needed 2400 to buy it, so I went to the store to buy a few points and went WOW thats a lot of money, so i went to my favorite 3rd party to see if they sold them cheaper and I was able to buy twice as many CP points for the same money that the store charges, so I got them and redeemed them, got the email from Microsoft thanking me for buying the points and they were redeened ok etc, went to my MW3 game on my xbox but the points didnt show up I still only had 1550 cps, so I then got chatting to activision for a a reason why that happened via emails for 4 hours back and forth they asking for proof etc that I provided, they went quite untill the next day asking me where I got the points I told them from Loaded (ex-cdkeys) they then came back and said "I recommend only buying in-game content including COD points from your platform retailer that's based on your account region" and that was it they shut me off (see attached email), I was not pleased at that responce at all, as I have purchased games using the same company again saving alot of money and they redeemed fine.
So I tried another company, "ENEBA" to see if they would work, but they didn't. After talking to them, they did say they would refund me (haven't got it yet) as it seems they are not allowing 3rd parties to sell and use on their site
So, why are these third-party companies able to sell something that I assume they purchased through Activision to sell on, which can't be used in-game?
Has anyone else had this issue with CPs being redeemed but not issued?
