COD Black Ops error

That is not a very big harddrive. It could be that there is just not enough free space for the game to breath.

When you installed did you install everything including the campaign and the multiplayer files?

Have you got any other games installed too?

Ok, I have done the scan and repair then... And I just let the game install the way it wanted to I would have to say yes everything was installed. Yes. I have other games installed as well. Although this laptop has an SSD HD do you think I should install the games on a remote hard drive? I can do that.

The SSD drive is fine but only 512gb. It is quite small. I would be running with a 1TB at minimum. Part of the problem is that 512gb is sort of ok but when a full update of the game (big update) then it has to download those files somewhere and then decompress them, do the install and that all takes space that you may not always have.

You could try to reinstall to an external drive if you like. It should be ok but it might run a bit slower depending on connection type etc. Worth a try.
