in game voice chat

am i missing something ?

i can heart people talk through my tv but not my headset --- other players can hear me . i have fiddled with the settings multiple times
but i cannot get it to come through my headset.

i use the one speaker headset that comes with your console ( or used to ) --- up until this game it has worked fine.

When you say you have fiddled with the settings can I ask what settings? The ones ingame, your console? Which console are you using may help too.

Oh, what connection type are you currently using from the console to the tv? HDMI?

im on xbox. if im in an xbox live party i can hear and talk fine -- but in the game i cannot. if i boot up modern warfare it works fine -- but on this game it doesnt.

i have seen a bunch of videos on it and changed the audio settings and none of it works -- i can hear people in the lobby through my tv but not the headset -*- even though i have headset selected -- i can test my mic and it picks it up -- and people in the lobby can hear me and respond but when they do it comes through the tv.

i even went as far as to mirror my friends settings but he was getting the same thing i was. at first it was working somewhat -- whenever one of our playstation friends was with us i could hear everyone fine during the round but in the party lobby and in the pregame lobby i couldnt hear anyone

if each componet is set to same input and output it should work correct. make sure it all mates up.
