Loadouts - Are They Broken?

I managed to sort my loadout problem from the other day that I posted about but tonight there seems to be another problem that is really annoying me, not sure if it is just me or a known issue.....

I will use an example from one of my loadouts:

So I have the AMES and JACKAL (I think) as my favourite loadout, they both show on the loadout screen and have been working fine, until tonight. They both still show but as soon as I start a multiplayer game and swap weapons (Jackal is my primary and AMES secondary) so Jackal to Ames the Ames becomes a pistol only, I have tried other loadouts and other variations but my secondary weapon always seems to be a pistol now which isn't what I asked for!

Either I am being dumb and accidentally clicked a setting or loadouts are broken in multiplayer (Zombies workes fine)

Any ideas or help?

Does anything happen if you select a different loadout on spawn and then quickly cycle back to your Jackel/Ames loadout? Ninja was bugged in SnD gamemodes where enemies could hear your footsteps even though Ninja was equipped on the loadout. Switching to a different loadout and then switching back to your desired class with Ninja countered this bug to Ninja.
 
Unfortunately not, all I am getting on every loadout is either pistol or launcher so I have had to set up new loadouts for every assault rifle calling them rifle 1, 2, 3, 4 and every SMG 1, 2, 3, 4 and shotgun etc. It isn;t ideal but it is usable. I was wondering why it was bugged because it wasn't like this when I initiated the loadout selection 2-3 days ago now I cannot use preferred secondary.
 
That is bizarre.. So even with all these new custom loadouts for ARs and SMGs (1, 2, 3..etc) and wildcard equipped, you still cannot get an AR/SMG as a secondary? It always reverts to a pistol or launcher?
 
Yep wildcard equipped and still can't have an smg and ar in one loadout. Tried changing optics laser etc.
 
Well Overkill will be the only way to get two primary weapons in a single loadout. But perhaps you can un-fuck whatever's happening with that loadout by equipping another wildcard and then re-equipping Overkill
 
OK so I have to revert back to my own builds not the fancy ones from vault to equip a smg and ar, quite why they have made things so difficult with no Instructions as to what you can amd cannot use is beyond me.

I'll just use one weapon per game and when I unlock a new one set a new loadout.

I'm a very casual player so not bothered by progress really. I'll probably stick to zombies mainly
 
Such a pain! I'm sorry, mat. Blops6 has been plagued with bugs - more so than any other COD in recent history, I feel. I really hope they are able to patch all these smaller, nuance bugs that just make the overall gameplay experience insufferable.

In any event, I hope you are you're still able to enjoy and find fun with the game!
 
Being a CoD amateur I'm only playing flr fun anyway and wouldn't have bought the game, it's just available on XB game pass so I thought why not. I also only got the vault pack because I had 21 quid store credit so oy cost me £6.

Needless to say buying a CoD isn't for me but I played through the campaign and actually enjoyed that
