Well, I thought I'd get this side of the board going by starting the first thread with a common question.

Did any of you really like an specific map in general? Why?

Well I really liked 3 maps Afghan, Underpass and Wasteland, I love to snipe and I think those were really great maps to crouch and snipe everyone passing by (specially wasteland), I loved how big the maps were and I think that so far it's been my favorite set of maps in the CoD series.

My favorite map was Skidrow. That map is actually my all time favorite map in any game I have played. To me, it just seems to be balanced just perfectly for SnD. The most memorable times I had on MW2 occurred on Skidrow.

I'm a dedicated domination mode player, and I have to agree Skidrow is one of the best maps of the game, and one of my all time favorite CoD maps. I also really enjoyed Highrise. Those two maps allowed everyone, from snipers to melee players, to have sections of the level that were well suited for their particular play style/loadout. FIghting in that hallway over "b" is some of the best CoD fun I've had in the series and I wasn't a big fan of MW2 over all.

My favorite map is rust. I'm a big fan of close quarters combat and a lot of action. You never have to wait more than 20 seconds to find yourself engaged in a fire fight and airstrikes devastate the whole map. One time I found a match where there were fifty players or something like that on rust and there was no time or point limit. It was crazy and didn't end until someone got a nuke, which took well over two hours to happen.

Those massive private matches on rust were brilliant, You spawn with someone behind you and someone in front of you. Snipers only!

My favorite map is Favela, I really like the way its set up with the amount of verticality. Just running through some of those buildings really quickly, it almost gave me a feeling like I could be doing parkour especially when you know all the tricks you can really get around fast.

Favorite maps in MW2:
-Favela
-Terminal
-Afghan
-Scrapyard

Those are my favorites.

Each made had it's own look and feel to it and Favela really captured the realness of the slums in Brazil really nicely.

My favorite maps of the game included Terminal, Favela and Highrise. I was especially happy when Terminal was brought to modern warfare 3 until of course the map was ruined by camping and bad players.

Mind has to be Terminal or Scrapyard. Pretty much any map I am fine with unless it's Rust. I know Rust can be fun sometimes, but I've played that map to death and it just isn't that fun anymore unless everyone is using knives or quickscoping.

My favorite MW2 is definitely Terminal. I just love that map, I think Terminal is a lot of people's favorite map. The reason I like it a lot is that I can choose to play any way I want. Like the map suits any style of gameplay. You can pick up a SMG and run around, you can snipe, you can play mid range with an assault rifle or whatever you want and still do good at the end. The map is just beautifully designed as well. The only thing that bothers me is your occasional camper in the cockpit of the plane. We can all agree they annoy the hell out of everyone.

I think my favourite was Terminal. As said above, it was just perfect for any type of gun. Want to quickscope? You'll still have a good chance of getting a kill. SMGs? LMGs? Assault Rifles? All fine. It was just a perfect, all-round map where any gun goes, i.e. pick anything and you still have a high chance of doing well. Plus it was in an airport! And the whole setting itself was pretty darn cool. Getting a kill through the wall that the cockpit of the plane overlooks (where FMJ helps and you can't see the enemy) just felt awesome.

I think that I would have like rust so much more if it wasn't for the reasons you listed haha

There was just so much spawn killing, that it really ruined any essence of joy that I could have had for that map. They should have made it special with only 4 players max per team, I would have really enjoyed it much more in that case.

As for my favorite map, it has to be terminal. It really seems to punish people who aren't patient and I love maps like that. The only downside was that aerial support couldn't work that well if the opposing team was up in the building leading into the airplane.

My favorite map in Modern Warfare 2 would also have to be terminal like everyone else above. I do know for sure that this is the map that I have I got the most kills on also. My second favorite with definitely have to be scrapyard, I used to run around that map like some maniac haha

Well for my almost all maps were good, my favorite ones were: Favela, Underpass, Highrise, Terminal, Carnival, Crash and Bailout, those were the maps my clan mostly used to choose when we play against other clans, it was pretty fun, and these maps are pretty good to set different strategies in Search & Destroy.

Terminal and Highrise for me. They were also the most played, so I pretty much learned every corner of the maps. I also liked Favela, but not as much as the other two.

I was going to comment on getting a kill through the wall that the cockpit of the plane overlooks! The first time that happened I actually think I jumped with excitement, lol.

I think my favorite is Highrise, but Terminal is a close second. I always find it hard to pick favorites though, they each have their perks and downfalls.

For normal DM, I prefer Rust and Favela. I like quick action and those maps, but Rust especially being close quarters lets me do that. But for S&D my fave is Highrise. Many enclosed spaces let me gun or bomb people out as they go to plant/defuse the bomb.
