Updates!!!!!!

The game updates several times a week, 2gb each time.
im now uptoo 193 gb. WHY!!!!!!!!
Some exaggeration on your part perhaps?

Yes, updates are frequent, a few a week, most of them (on PC at least) tend to be between 100-200MB in size, then once in a while there will be a big update which runs up to a few GB or more, and yes, for PC we are talking about more than 200GB of files to get he game to run, but definitely not 2GB every update, if that were the case I would be spending more time waiting for updates than I do playing.

The thing that winds me up most is that just after an update, after waiting for the download and install we when have a sneaky 'downloading texture pack' notification that won't let us play until this additional 'update' has downloaded and installed.

I wonder what these small updates do, when i look in the game notthing is changed.
And dont say its graphics inprovement. that look like its made 5 years ago

IMHO they gotta fix this shit so there is not all that many updates. Updates should be for fixes and to add new maps. That's it! That is just one reason of many reasons I won't buy any seasons and or the game itself in the future. My rating for this is game 10 being best I give it a 4.

You do know that the actual new season levels are free now, don't you?

We all get access to new maps and if you play enough to actually get to the 100th tier each season then you only need to buy the first single season pass and can continue using accumulated CP for each new season's battle pass.

@DizzyDemon

Ya I understand bud ;) My friends and I only play Capture The flag. Now most of my friends are tired of the hax and BS and that lame ass lobby. We are PC players and we play every nite. We only Play custom servers. With and with out the bots. IMHO the AI BOTS are really smart. The bots are not like the old days. They will come and get you lol. It's really to bad that the MAIN PUBLIC SERVERS do not run the new maps for CTF. That really sucks! That is why we play on the custom servers only. It is what it is. ;)

If that's the case then you don't need to buy the battle pass anyway, as I understand we can only get the XP required for progression in public servers.

The Season updates are annoying.. Especially for those (like me) with slow DSL connections.. 6ish MBPS.. We're out in the boonies..

And since my wife is working at home and needs all the bandwidth during the day, I am limited to doing large updates 1800hrs- 0800hrs...

Season 5 wasn't so bad.. I got it in 2 nights.. S4 took me almost a week..

So yeah.. I',m gaming on a laptop, and I put in an extra 256 GB ssd JUST for this game..
Now I'm out of room, so was that just a short expensive journey for an now unplayable game?
Not worth the cash for 6 months of gaming

I think that's an easy solution. External 1TB HDD/SSD.
