Warzone Warzone unplayable in 240hz? Help needed! TIA

Hey, I am hoping someone will be able to help me with this.
I have been playing warzone fine on 144hz at fps between 100-140.
I have now upgraded to a 240hz monitor, the aoc C27G2ZU curved.

Now everytime I load into a pre match lobby my fps will drop to an unplayable a out less than 15fps and I am forced to close the game. It is fine if I force the monitor to play as 144hz but nothing higher is playable. Both cod settings and monitor settings are at 240 when I do try.

Am i doing something wrong here or is it to do with warzone/my build? TIA

Rtx 2060 6gb
20gb ddr4 ram.

do you use Nvidia geforce experience to optimize your setting? If not, let it do it for you, then set the Nvidia DLSS to what you like, I also had to disable a Shadows setting to but not sure what one it was.. your problem is in the game setting.. HDMI cable won't work if that what port your using..

Thank you for your reply, I have no idea what I have done differently but it seems to be randomly working. So I'm assuming it was something to do with geforce experience one of those unexplained fixes lol.

When you swapped monitor did you also swap your old HDMI or DisplayPort cable for a new cable from the monitor box? It is possible that an old cable might not support that higher rate of transfer required to work at the higher refresh rate.

Also, don't forget to go into your display settings in Windows and make sure your GPU is set to run at the monitor's 240hz rate.
