I'm currently on a 3 day com ban. It happened right before the Wednesday update.
My friends can only hear me in Pre-Game lobby. Once the game starts loading in or we get in game, I can hear everybody but nobody can hear me. I've checked every in-game setting and PC setting I can think of. (I work in IT) I've even gone as far as toggling audio settings and verifying integrity of files for the game.
I have now opened up a ticket to Activision for further clarification on whats happening.... They replied with your typical Activision response:
"Please refer to the Offensive Behavior section of our Security & Enforcement policy for more information regarding this : Call of Duty Security and Enforcement Policy
Additionally to know about the specifics of the enforcement, the status of reports can be found in your in-game Notifications. Open the menu in the top right corner of the Home screen and navigate to Notifications (the bell icon). From there, select a Report Status Changed notification, then select View Report Status. The status screen will include the reason for and details of a report, as well as the duration of a penalty, if applicable. You can read more about this here: Call of Duty Voice Chat Moderation FAQ."
It would seem that this is a new form of coms banning... I've some how never been coms banned in MW3 before so I'm only on a 3 day. I will report back after that time frame to let you all know if it was lifted. I'm really disappointed in this game and how the devs are moving forward on enforcing these stupid rules/regula
