CoD mods

Does anyone play any CoD game with mods? I've been interested in trying a few out if they are balanced and fun. Was wondering what anyone might recommend?
Of course, I'm talking mainly for the PC games.

If you own Call of Duty 4, you should try out the Promod modification. It's quite popular and as a result you won't have problems finding a server to play on. It allows you to play call of duty in a competitive enviroment that helps you improve your skills and game style. You can find more information about this mod here: http://www.codpromod.com/

Also, another great modification that is implemented in most call of duty games is CoDJumper. The mod teaches you about the call of duty's engine bugs and shows you how to exploit them. For example jumping on curved surfaces bounces you in a long distance and gets you to high places where you can't go by just running and jumping. More info can be found here: http://www.codjumper.com/

I'd recommend those too and if you want some help with Promod ( since I've been playing for quite some time ) hit me up with a PM. :)

Thanks for the share. I didn't know jumping over curved surfaces bounces you in a long distance. Going to check out the link you've posted because it seems that I have a lot to learn. Going to use these new tricks and tips to dominate my friends when they come over.

Wow, didn't know about those COD jumping tricks, thanks alot to Dazje for posting the site.

As for COD Mods, I think mods that just look good like camo mods look really cool. I see them quiet a lot on PC, and downloading a texture pack shouldn't be too hard of a mod to do. I'd recommend looking into that, I'd help you myself but I've personally never done it and have no idea how to! Haha

I don't really use any mods other than camo mods, but I do download custom zombie maps, so I guess that counts as a mod. I don't really think there's that much of a variety of mods.

Galactic Warfare for CoD 4 is really awesome. It's Star Wars but for CoD. It's really fun, but there isn't that many servers. If you can find a game though it's lots of fun.
