Recruit
I bring to you today a concept for a new mode.
Combining aspects of:
—Vanguard zombies
—outbreak
—black ops 4 zombies
—cold war zombies
—escape to Tarkov
—dying light 2
—and finally, pokemon legends: Arceus

*WORLD CONCEPT!*
How does pokemon play into this?
I yield the concept of a multi open world progressive survival mode. A separate game mode from round based. It works in a similar function to where you have a home base and hub as vanguard and pokemon both have. Like both games, different challenges and areas around said maps and areas (like different outbreak zones) will yield new items, weapons, and perks per zone. You will be able to choose which zones you enter from your own homebase, but you will have to unlock them as you go. Any progress made inside the game, will be permanently saved unless you decide to reset for the sake of replay ability. Any items found while in outbreak zones, perks obtained, and weapons will be saved inside the hub. Like escape to tarkov and somewhat pokemon, if you die with any loot found inside these zones you will lose your items on you. BUT! this ONLY applies to items found inside the run. Perks, weapons, and pre-brought items will be kept upon death. If you purchase a perk for the first time and acquire it during a mission, but fail to complete you’re mission and die, you will lose the perk. If you started the mission with the perk you would NOT lose it. You can reaquire your newly found items by returning to your death spot, as long as you can make it there alive. Don’t challenge bosses unless you’ve deposited any rare items.

*NEW FEATURE:
crafting
Here’s another way I say pokemon is tied in. The new pokemon game includes, not only new pokemon and scenery in said area (Zombies and horrors in cod), but also the addition of new crafting supplies. The scrap feature from Cold War would be a good example, except more detailed. To craft a monkey bomb, you’d need to find simple metal parts, monkey bombframe, dynamite, and a bomb timer. Once all supplies have been found, you can craft this item. Crafting supplies would be found in scrap piles, rock nodes, broken down cares, broken buildings, and even higher loot in areas similar to dying light 2s zombie nests. If you clear these high infested zones, you’ll be rewarded with higher loot.

*PERK SYSTEM!*
After following the crafting and scavenger system, perks will be numerous and like
Cold War, upgradable. You won’t be using normal items to do so. You’ll need hard earned rare materials such as Dr Montys Elixirs, special potion mixes, dark ether fungi and herbs, ethereal crystals, and even consumable items.
Different perks and will need different materials.
Example: due to quick revive being a health perk, a healing herb would be the required item to upgrade it.
Stamin-up! Would need energy inducing items.
A consumable tactical item (like stim for example) would be an energy drink. This would allow you to run faster.
To upgrade stamin-up You’d need to craft said energy drink from materials in the wild and use it to upgrade stamin-up.
Now, since you can only upgrade so much, how will this work? There aren’t many per- hush.
Bo4 has a great solution.
Multiple small perks. Instead of having an insanely OP perk system where each perk has 90,000 abilities, you’ll have a large quantity of perks to level up and improve on. Perk limit is non existent so you can upgrade to your fullest!! But won’t this make the game too easy..? Not at all.
Boss fights will be held inside the infected zones as well as have roaming boss zombies around the maps, even the low level maps. This balances out the high tiered weapons, perks, and tacticals you have. How so? Well, if you DONT have 40 perks, a maxed out gun or wonder weapon, you won’t be able to survive these boss fights. Different maps that you unlock have different difficulty levels as well, opening the way for new materials, new upgrades new weapons, new wonder weapons, new perks, and new bosses. You can’t upgrade without materials mind you, so you need to venture to new zones to find said materials.

*POINT SYSTEM AND WEAPONS!*
Points are an amazing feature and always will be. But...how would they be used?
Purchasing perks for the first time, buying weapons, and even special wall buys. The best Wall buys will only be in special zombie infected zones. You can still find average ones along the map like usual. Although...wonder weapons..?
That’s a different story. Wonder weapons will need special items and “Easter egg” steps to follow to acquire them. Of course, there’s a main story to follow here. Each map would have its own Easter egg. But that’d be horribly hard to set up.
PAP, attachments, elemental abilities, perks for the first time, unlocking new areas inside the hub, more storage supplies, and unlocking new maps all require points. Points are acquired by the same means as every cod game. Only difference is how costly perks are and how the income is set, similar to outbreak.

THIS POST WILL BE CONTINUED IN A SEPARATE THREAD OR IN THE COMMENTS OF THIS THREAD!

CONTINUATION OF POST ABOVE;

**THE WORLD!**

Now I’ve said a lot of the general world building and such, but nothing in detail.

Like pokemon legends, the maps will be vast and different from each other. Each map will be featuring unique boss zombies, weapons, materials, perks to acquire, as well as its own scenic view and areas.

Map 1: similar to transit (have different town and urban themed areas. Sky scrapers to explore, towns with many buildings). Here you’d find simple crafting supplies.

Map 2: mountain, jungle, and forest themed map. Abandoned military bases, tree villages, etc.

Here you’d find more herbs, fungi, and even strong bosses inside the abandoned military outposts and even greater rewards alongside them.

Map 3: an abandoned and run down lab. The lab would be massive and have several locations and places to explore. Boss zombie would include Avogadro, as its a lab. The scientist Zombie would make a return as well. Here you’d be able to find electronics and special crafting materials for more high tech themed weapons and perks. Electric cherry, elemental pop, PHD Flopper, zomb-shell, aetherial blade, and any more special themed perks would be found scattered among the map.

Map 4: a desert and ghost town map. Think buried, but large scale. The sand is grey and black, with blood in it in some areas. A dark atmosphere. broken down convoys along the desert, crashed planes carrying 115, and everything in between. Vulturaid, tombstone, death perception, dying wish, and the likes would be found here. Perks required for surviving a wretched torn land.

So on and so forth.

INSIDE said zones, you’ll find boss zombies wondering, as well as something similar to Alpha pokemon in pokemon. These special boss zombies will be 10x as strong as normal zombies. It will be impossible to survive against them unless very prepared. Early map zones will have these around the map to find and kill, but some will be extremely hard. These you’ll have to wait till you’ve completed other zones and have to come back to them to kill them. The maps will have locations and inside locations you’ll find zombie dens. Hundreds of swarming enemies. Boss zombies galore, and at the core, a final boss zombie. This zombie will be even stronger then the roaming Alpha zombies. A true boss fight. Come prepared. Even more prepared than any cod zombies game has had you prepare before. Some of these can only be fought during extreme late game.

HOW WILL EXITING THE MAP WORK?

You obviously can’t farm items and zombies for 3 days straight and become the most powerful person ever...as the game goes on you’ll have to watch out. As the match goes on, zombies will very slowly become stronger. Around (example) 20-30 minutes, the pace at which the zombies will become stronger will increase rapidly. Instead of slowly becoming stronger, they’ll become sprinters and high healthier, high dps zombies within minutes.

Boss zombies will spawn much more frequently. During the start-middle of the game, the zombies will become Stronger none the less. Getting stronger yourself will allow you to survive longer without needing to evacuate.

Once the zombies reach super strong mode, the announcer will make a notification/announcement saying the zombie horde is growing bigger, and you should evac ASAP.

Different spots on different maps will be used for evac points. For the town, perhaps the top of a skyscraper (like die rise), for the lab the front gates. There would be several evac points across the map, allowing for anyone to evac whenever. Anyone can evac at anytime, and as many people as they want. If your lobby has 10 people, you can have 2 people evac at the start, 3 later, and the other 5 once the horde become strong.

Causing an evac tonstart will result in the area being infested with zombies, like Cold War Zombies. You will NOT be tasked with clearing the area, but only surviving until a car, helicopter, boat, or teleporter (lab) appears/activates to evacuate you from the area. Anyone within the vicinity will be evacuated once the cafe arrives. This will only apply to a small zone. Anyone outside will be able to explore, loot, fight, and challenge any bosses they wish.

WORLD EVENTS!

Classic zombies has dog rounds and boss rounds. Same can be said here. These “rounds” will be events that take place every 5-10 minutes.

World events can also be naturally found.

A swarm of zombies can plague an area, or even a swarm of boss zombies. An airdrop can arrive, a survivor found, a safe unlocked that you need to defend for a short period, or even small events like the outbreak ones. The map is vast and the challenges are many. Each event will have better rewards depending on the map, the type of event, and even the location.

The round based boss zombie and dogs event will happen regardless of if you want it to, and the zombies will spawn on you, meaning it is unavoidable like round based modes.

*GUN CRAFTING AND THE MYSTERY BOX!*

Certain weapons cannot be found as wall buys, and can only be crafted or found in the mystery box.

The mystery box can be used by spending mystery tokens. Mystery tokens can either be bought by spending a vast amount of points OR found rarely in the wild.

The weapons from the mystery box are stronger and high tier...but be warned, your chances of obtaining the weapon you want is slim. Acquiring your choice weapon by finding the parts and materials is an easier way to do so.

Wonder weapons will use the crafting system, but in like with the Easter egg. completing Easter eggs will award you with wonder weapons. The Easter eggs will be more so harder like how original ones are, but not as hard. They will get harder as the maps progress.

The concept of acquiring strong items from them, or even perks, will make players WANT to seek out the adventure of a Easter egg, regardless of how hard it is.

RAY GUN

the ray gun won’t be an Easter egg, but more so a lucky drop hunt.

You will first acquire a ”Ray gun body”. This will be the foundation that is the ray gun.

Once acquired, you will have to find the specific parts to craft it.

Not just the plain ray gun, but ALL the ray guns. You can craft the MKII and any upgrades with it, or any other variant of the ray gun. It is up to your decision which one you want. Craft on!

*ALL IN ALL!*

This is just a concept and can be tweaked in any and every shape and form. I hope treyarch will see this and consider adding features from this in future games, and maybe in future years see this as it’s own stand alone zombies game. I would like an Easter egg dedicated to my concept tho lol. Or even my own ray gun! Like how Porters ray gun, but like Savdato!’s raygun Mk13, has Purple Hearts on the design, and shoots purple projectiles or something lol.

Regardless, I hope this feature is added since I feel zombies could be an incredibly cool game if branched off of other game ideas.

That’s all from me.
