Graphics card turns off while lunching cod moder warfare 2019 and vanguard

i have very weird problem when i want to play older call of duty modern warfare 2019 or vanguard my graphics card shots down while lunching the game ,fan stop working etc there is no singnal from the GPU i need to hard reset PC .... i have no problem with any other game only this 2 ....... my pc is few months old ryzen 9800x3d rtx 5080 ,64 gb ram etc

Just for kicks, open your video card control panel and lower your resolution to something way under what you are currently set at. Restart your computer and try to launch the game again and see if that helps. If it works you can repeat the above and find the happy resolution for that game to launch without crashing.

This is just my gut feeling so it may not work at all and if it doesnt then simply reset the resolution to whatever you have it set at now.
